The 85M EXPLORER YACHT is an ultra-luxurious expedition vessel that began life in 2006 as 77m/252.7ft at the Chilean shipyard Marco Yachts, with an exterior created by Michael Leach Design. When work stalled in 2011 she was purchased by New Zealand superyacht Owner Graeme Hart and was moved to Auckland where, in 2016 she was sold still incomplete to Turkish shipyard AKYACHT, where she was renamed and received a hull extension. Her interiors come from H2 Yacht Design and provide a rich modern setting for relaxed gatherings and impressive social affairs. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 20 guests over 11 en-suite cabins, with a professional crew of 21 on hand. The 85m explorer yacht in April 2021.

The lower deck layout has a fold-down swim platform to increase the sunbathing space close to the water. Through the beach club there is access to the main deck aft via a port stairway.

The main deck aft is used for storing the tender and water toys, with a Davit crane for their safe and easy launch and retrieval.

On the upper deck there are plentiful sunbeds to starboard and along the stern, with a Jacuzzi in the centre. There is a bar forward and along the port side, and close to the doors to the interior upper deck aft lounge are two L-shaped sofas and a grand alfresco dining table for 12.

The foredeck can be accessed via side walkways and serves a double purpose: For storing additional motorised water toys along with a Davit crane, and a helipad on the bow for guests to come and go as they please throughout the cruise.

The bridge deck has a loveseat in front of the bridge controls, and the stern section is a private terrace for the occupants of the Master suite. There is a Jacuzzi in the centre and sunbeds on both sides, plus a port seating area with a drinks table for breakfast in the fresh open air or a nightcap at sunset.

The sundeck aft is an extension of the wine and cigar lounge and can be accessed via the glass sliding doors. This area has an alfresco dining table for eight in the centre and a broad sofa/sunbed on both sides for a rest in the sunshine after a large meal.

The lower deck layout places the crew accommodation, mess and laundry facilities forward with two staff cabins and a foyer amidships. This is followed by the engine room and crew areas, then aft of amidships is the spacious wellness centre. Within, there is a massage room, gym and beauty salon to port, while a hammam and lounging area are to starboard. Both sides have a fold-down terrace to increase the space beside the water and grant a greater connection to the anchorage. The beach club in the stern has a swimming pool down its centre, a wet bar in the forward port corner and a sofa along the side. The forward starboard side of the room has a corner lounge with coffee table to relax with drinks, and a pair of armchairs and a side table along the side.

On the main deck, the VIP stateroom is forward followed by the double cabins and then the main foyer with day head amidships to starboard with the galley to starboard. A large children's playroom occupies the aft interior of the main deck.

The upper deck has three indoor loungers: The forward lounge has a symmetrical seating arrangement of two curving sofas each accompanied by a pair of armchairs and a coffee table. A games table is in the aft port corner and a grand piano aft to starboard. A second lounge is immediately behind to starboard, creating a cosy area for close conversation or reading with the convenience of drinks from the bar. The formal dining room is to port and seats all 12 guests around a grand contemporary table with atmospheric lighting from the elegant and intricate chandelier.

Aft of amidships is the foyer with day head to port and the crew areas to starboard, and the third and final lounge is aft. The offers a wet bar to port and a table to seat six behind, while the starboard side has two corner sofas arranged around a coffee table.

The bridge takes up the forward space on the bridge deck and there are two L-shaped sofas with tables for guests to use as an additional lounge. Behind to port is the Captain's cabin and a staff double cabin, while to starboard is the Captain's office and a twin staff cabin. All have en-suite facilities. The stairs and lift form the amidships foyer, and the Master suite is behind with direct access out on to the private terrace.

85M EXPLORER YACHT Specifications

Up on the sundeck, the wine and cigar lounge is ideal for entertaining after dark. There is a fireplace for ambiance, a bar and games table, plus plenty of seating beside the windows to unwind and enjoy the views.

Twin Caterpillar 3512B engines give a top speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots and an exhaustive range of 8,000 nautical miles.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 4 double cabins. The Master suite enjoys commanding views from its position on the bridge deck aft, and the room comes furnished with a king-sized bed with a widescreen TV opposite, a sofa and coffee table to starboard and and armchair, two seats and a table to port. Glass sliding doors aft lead out onto a private terrace with outdoor seating, sunbeds and a Jacuzzi, while forward of the bedroom there is a dressing room to starboard and an en-suite bathroom with two sinks, a toilet, bidet, bathtub and shower. The rest of the guest accommodation is situated on the main deck. The VIP stateroom is forward and has a king-sized bed to port with a widescreen TV opposite, and a lounge and large wardrobe to starboard. The forward en-suite bathroom has two sinks, a toilet, shower and bathtub, The four double cabins are behind the VIP stateroom - two on the port side and two to starboard. All cabins come with a double bed with a widescreen TV opposite, a sofa, desk/vanity, large wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. There is also a double and twin cabin on the lower deck for staff: The cabins have a double bed and two single beds respectively, plus an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. The crew accommodation is placed on the lower deck and sleeps 24 talented crew members who will keep everything running smoothly throughout every cruise.

AKYACHT launches 85m explorer superyacht Victorious in Turkey

AKYACHT launches 85-metre explorer yacht Victorious, after having first arrived at their shipyard in Turkey in 2016, she is yet to undergo her finishing touches and sea trials ahead of her delivery.

Victorious’ owner extended the vessel by six metres, allowing for the construction of an indoor swimming pool, and a bowsprit was also added during this time. Victorious features a 200m2 beach club, with indoor gym, massage room and hammam.  The interior was designed by British design firm, H2 Yacht Design.

Jonny Horsfield, founder of H2 Yacht Design commented: “From starting a project to delivering some drawings and information to the shipyard could be 12 months on a normal build… we had to redesign the whole boat in three or four months.” Victorious will be aimed at the charter market and can accommodate upwards of 20 guests between her 11 staterooms, within her expansive 2,300GT interior.

Victorious will be completed this spring, reading for a maiden season in the Med.

Marco ferrari designed the 85m explorer yacht with hybrid propulsion for an operating range of 7,500 nautical miles..

The 85m explorer yacht concept sees a steel hull and superstructure made of aluminum. The yacht welcomes up to 14 guests and a crew of 28 people, including the captain. The hybrid propulsion contains a battery pack with generators and main engines with an operating range of 7,500 nautical miles.

The owner’s deck features an apartment, studio, walk-in wardrobe, bathrooms, lounge, outside lounge, jacuzzi, dining area, observation lounge, and access to the touch-and-go helipad.

The guest area has four VIP suites and two guest suites. There is also a cinema, gym, winter garden, eight-meter Infinity pool with a glass bottom on the main deck, five-meter Infinity pool with a jacuzzi on the sun deck. OPTIONAL: 6 m Interior pool or 2 Luxury Submarines

Alongside the helipad, the explorer yacht concept comes with a fleet of tenders like:

The 85-metre superyacht BOLD has embarked on a two-year world charter tour, which will see her return home to Australia in February 2021.Delivered by Perth shipyard SilverYachts in 2019, BOLD is the ultimate luxury expedition vessel. Her potential for exhilarating adventures will be realised as she provides six-star service in some of the world’s most remote regions.

BOLD is available for charter immediately, and will be based in Maldives for Christmas and New Year. From the Maldives , she will then tour Thailand and Singapore in January 2021 before reaching Australia in February.

The rugged, naval-inspired exterior profile, penned by renowned designer Espen Oeino, give BOLD a character that perfectly suits her unlimited cruising capabilities. At 85.30m in length and 1,551GT, BOLD is undoubtedly a voluminous superyacht, but it is the incredible use of this space which makes her such a remarkable charter yacht.

Every inch of BOLD’s guest spaces has been meticulously planned to provide a magnificent entertainment platform for unforgettable and indulgent experiences. Charter guests are treated to an incredible array of luxury amenities onboard to maximise their time at sea. The expansive sundeck is an idyllic area to enjoy the outdoor environment both during the day and at night, with an 8-person Jacuzzi and large outdoor cinema.

BOLD is well endowed with a thrilling arsenal of water toys and tenders that will throw guests into the heart of the action, making the most of each and every unique cruising ground. Two 10.5m twin engine large high seas excursion Rupert tenders and one 6m Rupert R6 tender provide extreme comfort and military-grade durability for high-octane adventures and activities on the water. A complete set of water toys includes two 300hp Seadoo Waverunners and two laser sailing dinghies for fleet races, while a twin-engine fast helicopter is also available for charter to accompany the superyacht.

Up to 16 guests can be accommodated in eight opulent cabins, made up of three VIPs, four guest cabins and an incredible Owner’s suite with a private salon and direct access to the exterior decks. A 20-strong professional crew are on hand to ensure that the guests’ every need is attended to during their luxury superyacht charter.

As the largest Australian-built superyacht, BOLD will return home in February to charter for the first time in Australian waters. 85m expedition yacht BOLD now open for luxury yacht charters

Fresh from a hotly-anticipated debut at the Monaco Yacht Show, 85m/279ft explorer yacht BOLD is now a luxury yacht for charter , and will be available this winter across the Bahamas .

 The fastest world explorer yacht and the largest yacht ever built in Australia, BOLD is an expedition yacht designed for the intrepid explorer.

She has a number of features that make her an excellent candidate for the Caribbean's cruising grounds, including a low draft for accessing shallow waters, increased fuel efficiency and fast repositioning.  

She can reach maximum speeds of 23 knots, and is home to an innovative winter garden set-up, sundeck cinema set-up and an enormous tender garage with 6-tonne crane for flexible launching of water toys and accessories.

The motor yacht's rugged profile comes from the drawing boards of Espen Oeino. Her profile is characterized by a large Heli landing deck on the aft deck, which is complete with flush lighting for nighttime operations.

She also benefits from a selection of outdoor seating areas, one of which can transform into a nightclub area with the help of an integrated laser show.

Alfresco dining can be found on the main deck aft, alongside a sumptuous seating area which is primed for entertaining and socialising.

The sundeck meanwhile, is better suited to intimate moments, with its glass-fronted 8-seater jacuzzi and sofa seating area with integrated ice bucket and burner. 

The YachtCharterFleet team had the chance to step on board BOLD during the Monaco Yacht Show, and can confirm her interiors are as light-infused and contemporary as they appear in pictures. German studio Vain Interiors are responsible for her interior styling. 

Large portions of glazing in the main salon help achieve an airy effect, alongside a large open-plan seating area with a mammoth TV screen across the forward wall. 

Accommodation is provided for a total of 16 guests in 8 eight cabin, which includes a large 300m2 owner's suite with floor-to-ceiling windows, handmade silk carpets and a media wall.

Construction update on Atlante Yachts' first 35m explorer yacht

Construction is progressing on the Atlante Classic 25, the first unit in Atlante Yachts ' 34.5-metre explorer series. The hull and superstructure are now joined with the yacht undergoing works at Mengi Yay 's shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey.

Delivery to her "experienced Northern European" owner is scheduled for spring 2025.

The Atlante Classic 35 is a modern interpretation of the full displacement explorer yacht, with Atlante Yachts committed to an all-Italian design. Exterior and interior design is therefore owed to VYD Studio , while naval architecture will be completed by Arrabito Naval Architects . 

Accommodation is across five en suite cabins. Interior renderings reveal a fresh, contemporary style with floor-to-ceiling windows, light-wood wall panelling and a gentle colour palette of blues and greys. The design was developed with extensive input from the owners, including the choice of high-quality Italian materials and fabrics. 

Leisure highlights include a beach club with an unfolding transom and ample entertainment areas across its three decks. The hardtop sundeck is the main communal area, fitted with fixed sunpads, an al fresco dining area with U-shaped sofa seating and a dry bar.

"With the layout of the Atlante Classic 35 we have aimed to achieve a perfect equilibrium within the parameters of length, beam and within a very high volume of 330GT usually only available in vessels several metres longer," said Paolo Dose of VYD Studio. "This allows a harmonious balance between accommodation, living, exterior and technical areas."

Powered by twin Volvo Penta engines, the Atlante Classic 35 will have a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range in excess of 5,000 nautical miles.

According to BOATPro , Mengi Yay has seven other hulls currently under construction.  The shipyard recently delivered the first unit in its 47.5-metre series, Serenissima I , which will debut at this year's Monaco Yacht Show .
