The 83.50-metre (273’11”) Savannah is the first hybrid motoryacht. She is the first superyacht to feature an eco-friendly blend of single diesel engine, three gensets, batteries, propeller, azimuting thruster and a streamlined hull shape. SAVANNAH showcases four copious decks where charter guests can relish the sumptuous amenities and enjoy the effortlessly flowing spaces that move from the inside out. The yacht’s awe-inspiring interior, designed by the renowned CG Design, boasts modern elegance with a relaxing ambiance. Charter guests will be captivated with SAVANNAH’s stunning design elements, such as her video walls, modern art collection and unrivaled large windows that offer breathtaking views of the charter destination. Superyacht SAVANNAH offers a tranquil oasis for guests to lay their heads with six lavish staterooms that accommodate 12 guests. The world’s first hybrid superyacht blends innovative eco-friendly technology with an ultra-luxurious design for a one-of-a-kind charter experience.

SAVANNAH’s onboard highlights include a 9m swimming pool, a full beach club and spa plus a breathtaking underwater lounge for the ultimate charter experience.

With six luxurious ensuite staterooms, SAVANNAH is capable of welcoming up to 12 guests onboard. A masterpiece of modern design, SAVANNAH’s owner’s suite is located on the private upper deck. The bedroom features a show-stopping oval skylight overhead and wall-to-wall full-length windows on all sides which flood the room with light.

The owner’s suite opens into a huge marble bathroom plus a walk-in dressing room and a cosy study. Custom-built pantograph doors lead out onto the private upper deck area. Spacious and light, SAVANNAH’s beautifully finished VIP suite is located on the main deck. It includes an ensuite bathroom and offers sweeping views of the ocean.

SAVANNAH’s guest accommodation includes two double and two twin staterooms each with an ensuite bathroom on the main deck. 

SAVANNAH’s main deck features an open-plan layout with two curved salons linked by a central corridor. Innovative glass doors can be removed to create a seamless connection with the weather deck. SAVANNAH’s striking formal dining room also features curved glass doors which can be opened for indoor/outdoor dining. Equipped with an oval dining table for 10 guests. SAVANNAH is equipped with a state-of-the-art private gym, an onboard spa and a Moroccan hammam.

On the aft deck, you’ll find an underwater lounge. The first of its kind in the world that can also be transformed into a cinema room.

Boasting a wealth of alfresco entertainment options, SAVANNAH is equipped with a remarkable nine-meter swimming pool on the main deck. Surrounded by loungers and leading down to the vast bathing platform, this is the ideal spot to relax with family and friends. 

SAVANNAH comes with a wide selection of water toys including two 9.5m tenders, a 50hp RIB, Jet Skis, WaveRunners, Jet Surfs, Seabobs Kayaks plus all the latest inflatables and towables. She is equipped with an onboard basketball court and carries mountain bikes, footballs, frisbees and volleyball nets for onshore fun.

Other outstanding exterior features aboard charter superyacht SAVANNAH include a forward-facing spa pool, a full beach club at water level plus a huge sun deck complete with a DJ station and a BBQ for relaxed evenings spent dancing under the stars.

The SAVANNAH yacht is described as a masterpiece of design, and her interior has several unusual features. Twelve guests find space in her six cabins which were designed by the CG Design.

The master suite even has a private balcony, and many of the cabins were designed with unconventional rounded shapes to give the yacht a unique touch.

She has a hammam, open-concept gym, a spa and indoor glass balconies with large TV walls that can be individually programmed.

However, the most sought-after feature among charter guests is the underwater viewing lounge which can be transformed into a cinema if requested.

It was custom-designed and is unique to SAVANNAH. She also has a basketball court on board and never fails to surprise her guests with luxurious amenities.

The SAVANNAH yacht was built by the Dutch shipyard Feadship and delivered to her owner in 2015.

She is 83.5 metres (273.11 ft) long with a 12.5-metre (41 ft) beam and a 3.95-metre (13 ft) draft. Her gross tonnage lies at 2,250 tons, and she sails under the flag of the Cayman Islands.

She was the first hybrid superyacht delivered by Feadship and remains one of their most elaborate projects.

The SAVANNAH yacht has a beautiful silvery-white exterior with large windows. Guests can enjoy her four decks with a large pool aft.

Her top deck features a spacious jacuzzi with fantastic views. Since SAVANNAH is available for charter, she carries a variety of toys and equipment on board.

Most notable are her three jet skis, two laser sailboats, four seabobs, three kayaks, and four standup paddleboards.

She also has four mountain bikes, inflatables, a trampoline, and towable toys available for the enjoyment of the guests.

SAVANNAH has four tenders, two of which are 9.5 meters (31 ft) long. Like her interior, the exterior of SAVANNAH was designed by the Parisian design office CG Design.

Her owner bought SAVANNAH for a total price of US $140 million in 2015. She generates additional annual running costs of US $10 to 15 million.

Bayesian yacht captain faces manslaughter probe after deadly sinking in sicily.

The captain of the luxury Bayesian yacht that sank near Porticello, off the coast of Sicily, last week will face an investigation into multiple counts of manslaughter and negligent shipwreck, the Italian prosecutor’s office announced Monday.

James Cutfield, 51, was the head of crew aboard the 184-foot sailing boat when it capsized in the throes of a ferocious storm last Monday, killing six passengers, including British tycoon Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter, Hannah. The yacht’s chef Recaldo Thomas also likely died in the wreck.

The other victims were Morgan Stanley International director Jonathan Bloomer, prominent American lawyer Chris Morvillo, and both of their wives – Judy Bloomer and Neda Morvillo. Chris Morvillo, a partner at Clifford Chance, was involved in successfully defeating the U.S. fraud case against Lynch in June.

Cutfield and 14 other people survived the sinking, including Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares.

A weather phenomenon known as a waterspout – one of several types of tornadoes – is thought to have capsized the yacht. But Italian authorities are investigating whether the crew’s actions and their handling of the boat contributed to the deadly sinking.

New-Zealand born Cutfield is not in custody, according to Italian prosecutors, but he cannot leave the country while the investigation is ongoing.

Those killed were likely asleep at the time of the storm, a prosecutor said at the weekend, which is why they were unable to escape. On Saturday, the prosecutor and head of the fire brigade recovery team both said five bodies were found in the same room of the ship, which may have meant they were searching for an air pocket while the ship sank.

Investigators warned that the circumstances of the sinking remain largely unclear, including whether there was a black box onboard the ship, and if some of the ship’s hatches were left ajar – which would explain why it sank so rapidly.

Salvage crews are expected to raise the Bayesian – named after the statistical theory on which Lynch made his fortune – in the coming weeks. Under Italian law, the cost of raising and salvaging the ship falls on the ship’s owner.

As Bacares’ company owns the vessel, they must find a salvage company and raise the ship, which is then handed to Italian authorities as part of the investigation, the main prosecutor Ambrogio Cartosio said on Saturday.

After the yacht is raised, investigators will determine if the hatches were open during the storm, Cartosio added.

Italian prosecutors will also investigate whether the ship’s chief mate was on the bridge when the ship sunk, and if anyone tried to warn the passengers of imminent danger.
