Traveled for two events, somewhat familiar with area so we knew it wasn't the Ritz. Property and all amenities were VERY clean: fitness room, breakfast room, pool, parking garage, all halls and lobby. We're a bit concerned about previous reviews regarding noise, but we did not experience any of that. Bed was comfortable, nice harbor view, plenty of towels and pillows, two(!) suitcase/luggage racks. Plenty of covered parking and uncovered overflow on top level of structure. Pool is in front of property, along street but feels private; set up so that passers-by cannot look in. Gym is small but functional with three cardio machines, plenty of dumbbells and towels. Did not try TV, Wi-Fi appeared fast enough for our basic needs. There was coffee and fruit available throughout the day and breakfast included buffet-style scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. Also available were diy stations for toast/bagels, pancakes (cool automated maker) and burritos. More than enough coffee, tea, beverage options and seating with overflow into pool area. Entire staff was very friendly and attentive, asking if we were enjoying our stay or needed anything, also offering tips on local places and travel to event locations. You get more than expected for the price and would visit again under similar circumstances, or if traveling with children. Food was warm, not hot; wondered if warming trays were on. Disliked · Bathroom vanity felt dim and wife had trouble while applying makeup, she could net get a true/bright light. A/C cooled but seemed to struggle to get below 75, refrigerator kept drinks cool but not cold. Placed a water bottle in freezer and it was cool to touch, not frozen or even slushed. Food was warm, not hot; wondered if warming trays were on. Would opt for more if traveling with a less rigid schedule or for special occasion. Again, we pretty much knew what to expect, but better refrigerator, A/C and hotter breakfast would probably have gotten a 9 or 10. We do try to rate fairly based on what is offered, not based on previous stays at better or worse places. Overall, a nice stay.

Free parking and free breakfast were two big reasons for my choice of this stay. Location was also another reason. I needed something close to the airport as my original plans needed me close to a military base and the airport to return my car. It is across the street from the harbor. The best views may be only from Harbor View rooms. I chose a standard accessible room so the balcony outside my room would only have been ideal if I wanted fresh air over a view. The front desk clerk who greeted me at check in was sweet. As a travel professional, I appreciate they were diligent in confirming my ID for the rate of stay. A few guests mentioned they were repeat guests at this place, which is a good sign. It was ideal for the price I wanted to pay. The property is older but the room was clean and property seems well maintained that allowed me to feel safe and comfortable. The main issue was my room was freezing! Even after airport turned off the AC, the switch to heater didn't make a difference. Thankfully, because I knew of the TJMaxx nearby, I was able to find a perfect blanket to add to the layers of blankets they already had in my room. The breakfast was OK for which I got to experience two days in a row. The front desk staff was pleasant. The lobby is pretty and inviting to relax. The room I stayed was tiny, but still ideal for my needs on the short stay. I appreciated the fact the hotel kept fresh fruit for breakfast.

This was a most disappointing stay. The place needs an upgrade/update. We stayed in a handicapped room. It was on the first floor and right outside the window was the pool area. We wanted to open the window to let fresh air in since the room reeked of smelly feet but it was too noisy with kids running around and screaming. The beds were nicely made but the room needed a scrub down. The bathroom was gross. The drain at the bottom of the shower was rusty and gross as was the tile, so I refused to take a shower. I've seen better & cleaner in hospitals! The vent was filthy and the vinyl baseboard underneath the desk was totally separated from the wall. Their saving grace was their complimentary hot breakfast in a too small room with tired furnishings. The eggs, potatoes, and sausage were good as was the coffee and the juices. The flow of the layout was not well thought out and items could be placed better for efficiency. This was our first time staying at a BW hotel and it was a huge letdown especially since their brand is well-known and supposedly with a great reputation. We disliked it so much that we canceled reservations for BW in Maryland. It was very uncomfortable staying here and we're not planning to return.

The lady in the front desk I think her name is Mayumi, she was extremely rude and horribly greeting us in. I didn't feel very welcoming at the first place already, I paid for the room and it was not cheap and I don't think it's worth it to be honest

Loved the location it was a center point for Seaport Village and Ocean beach. The breakfast buffet was amazing. It was so relaxing , didn't feel rushed. The hotel room was beautifully maintained. Extremely quiet and peaceful, The pool was heated and amazing just to relax in.

This is what I sent to the corporate office after I continued to receive bad customer service. Hello, Thank you for reaching out to the Hotel. I was briefly contacted by Chris (manager) and he asked for my name and if he could credit me on the card that I originally paid with. I had to ask him for a receipt to be emailed. I waited 24 hours and I did not receive an email confirmation. I reached out to Chris multiple times and after I left messages with my callback number and no response I waited until the end of day today. I was able to finally speak to Chris. I confirmed my email address and had him resend the receipt showing a refund. He again was very unprofessional and hung up without any type of courtesy. I even thanked him and called him sir and got nothing back but hung up on. I can't believe the lack of customer service management has shown for this location. I am attaching the receipt so you can see that they even marked "guest complaint of butterflies in room" why the heck would someone complain of butterflies!? I think he is trying to coverup the fact that they have bed bugs. Disgusting!! I am currently waiting on my refund to show up still. Hopefully it will come. I do thank you for escalating this matter to them and hope it will be followed up accordingly.

Location, and service was good on 11/10/23. Woke up on 11/11/23 to bed bugs. Alerted the staff and asked for a room change. Was told there was nothing available yet and to check after 12:30. Went out for the day and figured since regular check in times are around 3:00, we waited till then to try and switch rooms. At that time we waited in the lobby for 20 minutes for a new room to be ready. I paid for Harbor view and had room 511. Nice room, nice view, but had bed bugs. Was given room 601 for replacement. Walked into that room and it was way smaller than what we originally had and it was city view. We were literally thrown into a corner room on the 6th floor and was told "o well that's what you get. I was not told that we were being downgraded so I was very disappointed. I went back to the front desk and asked for a harbor view like I had paid for and was told repeatedly by Julio that they couldn't do it and nothing was available. I said that this is unacceptable and something needs to be done. They got the manager and he came over, made a few clicks and said done! So obviously there was other rooms available and they just wanted me to just take it like it is, even knowing the reason behind the changes. (BED BUG) Not once did I get an apology from any of the staff, nor was there any concern shown for the bed bug that was found in my pillow. They gave us a harbor view room in the opposite corner and the view was partially blocked by the stairwell but at this point in time I was over it and just wanted a clean room for my family. I really can't believe there was no sympathy by ANY of the front office staff, nor was I offered a refund, partial discount or a simple "I'm sorry for your experience ". Because of this, it completely outshined the positive stuff that we did have with our stay sadly. To know that our bed bug room was turned over to another guest just disgust me. They should've kept it empty until the problem was thoroughly investigated and taken care of. I hope no one else gets this type of treatment or come across any bed bugs. Only reason they got one star was because of yelp, and because some of the cleaning staff and the staff helping with the breakfast were nice. Julio was nice when we checked in and just fell off after the incident was brought to him. Breakfast was decent, pool was warm and clean. The pool towels are small and won't wrap around your body. Pool/Harbor view is nice from the upper floors. But all of this was ruined by bed bugs and bad customer service when problems arose.

Good value, love the location, excellent staff Although the hotel could use a facelift, found the rooms clean enough, the staff were all great, and loved the breakfast options and the fact that they posted the daily offerings (so wouldn't miss out on offerings for that day only ;)). Love the location - great waterfront area to walk around & explore. Dunkin', Ralph's and our favorite SoCal Mexican fast food, Adalberto's, all within walking distance! Close to the airport, so although no shuttle service an uber to/from the hotel is not too expensive. I did leave feedback that it was a bummer we couldn't take stairs to the room, as we stayed on the 2nd floor and felt bad hogging the elevator, and that the exercise room could use some updating and got a responsive, considerate response from the hotel management. Thank you for hearing my thoughts and being so open to feedback!!! Definitely recommend if you're looking for something affordable with decent amenities and a great location!

Great view of the yacht harbor. There were some restaurants in walking distance. We drove to Coronado just for an evening and downtown Little Italy the following day, both were close. This location offers free breakfast, free parking. The rooms were decent, overall things seemed old but clean to all appearances. Our room was near the elevator and you can hear it loudly ever through the room every time it runs. The pool was heated. The breakfast staff was friendly and efficient.

Great value hotel. Clean with great breakfast. Pool is so nice and warm. Parking is included and close to lots of shops and restaurants - several walkable.
