SilverYachts reveal interiors of 80m in build Silver Edge

SilverYachts has revealed new interior renderings of its 79.5-metre model Silver Edge , currently listed for sale with Fraser . Construction started on speculation in 2022 and Silver Edge is set to join the Australian shipyard's all-aluminium globetrotting fleet (including Silver Fast and Bold ) in 2026.

Piredda & Partners has conceived two distinct design proposals for Silver Edge 's interiors, named "Midnight" and "White Sand".

White Sand is described as "sophisticated and delicate", incorporating sandy wood, rough stone and natural antique bronze throughout. Cultivating a relaxed, communal environment, the spacious central lounge only has one private corner which divides the main dining area from the saloon via a built-in sofa.

Alternatively, Midnight has been labelled a more "challenging" aesthetic. Designed with refined materials "from all around the globe", the interiors balance open spaces with several private, intimate corners. This version also features a television lounge and a see-through bronzed wall that divides the formal lounge from an informal cinema.

Silver Edge is based on the same slender profile as Silver Fast with a military twist, a creation of legendary superyacht designer Espen Øino . Despite its length and slim design, the vessel draws just 2.8 metres and offers a 10-metre beam.

Accommodation is for up to 18 guests split between a 95-square-metre owner's cabin and three main deck VIP staterooms, with the remaining four cabins found on the lower deck. Further cabins sleep a total crew of 17. Other highlights include a wine cellar, winter garden and a touch-and-go helipad.

The main deck aft features a five-metre-long glass-bottomed swimming pool and sun lounge, accessed from an oversized swim platform using twin staircases. A secondary dipping pool is found on the sun deck while owners benefit from direct access to a third exterior deck.

A seven-metre tender can be stored in the forward tender garage alongside Jet Skis and wave runners, while a four-metre certified rescue boat is stored in the foredeck hatch.

Power comes from twin MTU 12V 4000M93L engines delivering a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles.

According to BOATPro , SilverYachts currently has two SpaceCat catamarans currently under construction.

In stark contrast, the Midnight interior (above) is dark and moody with an eclectic palette that showcases refined materials from all across the globe. Again, the layout is made up of vast open spaces but also includes private corners for more intimate gatherings. The TV lounge, for instance, features a bronze wall that separates the formal lounge from a more informal cinema.

Silver Edge can sleep a total of 18 guests across four guest cabins, three VIP cabins, and a generous owner’s suite with a private salon and en suite. There is also accommodation for 17 crew.

The exterior is nothing to sneeze at, either. The main deck is home to an expansive glass-bottomed pool, a winter garden for relaxation, and a plush lounge, while the sundeck is equipped with a Jacuzzi and alfresco dining area. To top it off, the aft deck sports a beach club, gym, dive center, and swim platform.

The vessel, which will be the seventh hull built by Silver and the fifth in the series, is expected to hit the seas in 2026. It is currently listed with Fraser and is priced at about $75 million.

Now you just have to decide whether you prefer Midnight or White Sand.

SilverYachts introduces new yacht 79.5m Silver Edge – all images and details

The Australian yard  SilverYachts  has just revealed their new 79.5 metre all-aluminium design  Project Silver Edge , reminiscent of  Silver Fast , another yacht by the yard with unique and aggressive styling.

Project Silver Edge was penned by the legendary superyacht designer  Espen Øino .

The 80m yacht design follows in the footsteps of the 85m Explorer Bold and features a winter garden, helipad, and dive centre.

The aluminum hull and superstructure of Silver Edge feature a naval architecture developed in-house and accommodations for 18 guests inside the 1030GT interior.

Aside from the owner’s suite, there are three VIP cabins, four guest cabins, as well as accommodation for 18 crew members.

Additionally, the main deck includes a 2.8m x 5m swimming pool, a bar, a lounge and a winter garden where guests can gather.

A beach club aft opens onto a swim deck with a movable swim platform, as well as a gym and dive center.

During long crossings, a nine-meter guest tender can be stored on the aft deck and deployed by a concealed crane, while a seven-metre tender can be stored in the forward tender garage along with Jet Skis and wave runners. At the same time, a four-metre certified rescue boat is stored in the foredeck hatch.

Silver Yachts launches 80m Silver Edge

The latest hybrid project from the australian boatbuilder is the fifth model to be launched from its silver series….

The steel and aluminium yacht will feature a hybrid propulsion system and exterior design from industry veteran Espen Øino. For interior design, the new owners opted for Piredda & Partners.

Our vision and constant search for future canons in design and style aims to give life to a true new classic.”

On the main deck, Silver Edge will include a helipad, sundeck with sun pads, jacuzzi, and dining area. The interior offers a 95m² master suite, three VIP staterooms and four doubles, hosting up to 18 guests.

Fraser Yachts has been appointed as the central agent for the sale and currently has the yacht listed for a cool $75m. Peter Redford, Director of Fraser Australia, adds that Silver Yachts has built a strong reputation for building striking, high-quality yachts in terms of development, technology and quality in recent years. 

“World premieres of new superyacht models are always exciting, and Fraser is excited and proud to play a part with the Silver Yachts team,” says Redford. “There is no doubt that the Silver Edge will be a leading superyacht adding to Silver Yachts’ impressive stable.”

Delivery is scheduled for 2026.

Silver Edge interior options revealed

Australia’s SilverYachts has revealed the interior design options by Piredda & Partners for the 79.5m Silver Edge.

Following SilverYachts’ collaboration with exterior designer Espen Øino, brokerage house Fraser and the Piredda & Partners design studio , the Australian shipyard has unveiled the new exciting interior design of the 79.5m Silver Edge .

Piredda & Partners, founded by Italian Nicolo Piredda, has created two interior design proposals: Midnight and White Sand.

Midnight mood

In the Midnight option, the TV lounge welcomes the guests into the interior, while a see-through bronzed wall divides the formal lounge from a more informal cinema. The style is designed to be elegant, with a variety of open spaces and private intimate corners.

The Midnight mood is described as “luxury talks with a rare ethnic style”, with the décor featuring refined materials from all around the globe together with rich details, “resulting in a pure tribute to nature”.

White Sand mood

In the White Sand mood, sandy wood, rough stone and natural antique bronze are among ingredients designed to create “a union between nature and luxury”, with sophisticated, delicate architectural elements providing a luxurious touch with refined details.

Guests are welcomed in a relaxed, informal environment featuring a spacious central lounge. Only a private corner is hidden from the rest of the space, as it divides the main dining area from the main lounge with a built-in deep sofa.

The constant research for future canons in design and style guides the pen over the white sheet to give birth to a true new design classic.

Her features include beauty salon, satellite communications, beach club, deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93L) 16-cylinder 3,650hp engines running at 2100rpm, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 23 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 116,000 litre fuel tanks at 14 knots. Her water tanks store around 32,600 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠100 A1 Yacht Mono G6 [✠] LMC UMS classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
