The 115 year-old International 12 Metre Class encompasses a living history of racing yacht design by the world’s foremost naval architects including Olin Stephens, Clinton Crane, William Fife III, Philip Rhodes, Johan Anker, Ben Lexcen and more who pushed their designs to the very limits of innovation. The resulting boats represented the pinnacle of yacht development from 1907-1987 for the highest levels of international sailing competition– the Olympic Games (1908-1920) and the America’s Cup (1958-1987).
The International Twelve Metre Association is comprised of 3 Fleets WORLDWIDE:

Connecting Communities Through Youth Educati
Making a difference.
We know that being near the water can calm us and connect children, their families and communities and that being near the water can reduce stress, amplify creativity and increase innovation and insight. With that in mind, we shall provide introduction to water-based recreational activities in a way for our students to dare to dream, learn, react and develop lifelong learning skills in a unique, safe and educational environment. 'Teaching The Way Our Children Learn'
National Curriculum
Meeting and exceeding standards.
Our curriculum meets the National Knowledge and On Water Skills Based Standards (NOWS) and exceeds the National Instructor Approach Standard (NOWS). The Spirit of America Foundation has verified that these national standards of education, which are all inclusive in our sail, human powered and power sections of our curriculum, meet these standards approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) .
A National Youth Movement!
