Impeccable service! Super nice and swanky! Came here to enjoy the facilities and have lunch with a friend who's a member. This is a private club and you can only come in with a member. The pool is very clean and the facilities has full shower, locker rooms and fitness room with very new machines. There are 3 restaurants on site all with ocean view. We are at the spinnaker bar and grill. Simple menu, prices are very reasonable for such a swanky place. Got the conch fritters, it was decent. The ahi tuna bowl was very good, although definitely a bit too sugary for my taste. The burger was also pretty good especially with sweet potato fries. All the wait staff knew all the members by name and knew what kind of drinks and food they like. It was super impressive. It was like a big family. Your needs were catered to perfectly. Overall a wonderful experience!

It was my first time here, we went with a big group of friends. Due to the COVID our party had to be limited to 10, but we were all able to sit together on the patio (inside seating wasn't available yet). We arrived by boat and the slip and dock were very nice. There was a limited food menu, but they are offering a full wine menu :) Everyone was happy with their dishes and we shared several bottles of wine! I'd love to go back when the full menu is available.

We are new members of the Sarasota Yacht Club and we could not be more delighted. We have been members of excellent private clubs before so we know what to expect, and Sarasota Yacht club is well on the way to pleasing us. Warm, welcoming staff and members, elegant venue, delicious fare, and so many fun events as well as a wide variety of clubs within the Club. We could not be more delighted!

One of the BEST yacht clubs in this country!! SYC is across from Bird Key towards St. Armonds. It's members only but if you are lucky enough to know someone who is - it's worth visiting. It has a nice layout and fabulous views of yachts from the restaurant and bars. It's a small marina so we've been able to flag down the dock master easily when we've needed to. A fuel dock is on premise and for pump out, mobile services are available. SYC has swimming pool, gym, restaurant and bars, and of course docks full of boats! There are kayaks and paddle boards for members to rent and fire places on the green. Everything is well maintained and has a good gift shop too. I love their sugar hand scrub in their ladies rooms. I wish they carried it in their gift shop! Their restaurant and bars stand on their own and often we opt here for lunches and dinners. The food range is wide from burgers to fancy pasta, steaks and fish. My favorite here is 1/2 BLT with "fresh made" Caesar (crack) salad. When I'm in SRQ, I have this several times a week! Their bars are fantastic! They have Amarena cherries that I absolutely love, love (did I say love?) in my Goose martinis. Parking is ample and they offer valet too. Membership-wise, they offer different levels to keep it diverse from a social for swim and dine to full moorage privileges.

Extremely slow service! No silverware, salt or pepper on the table; it finally arrived after dinner was finishing. Waitress Danielle was no where to be seen after serving dinner. Dinner was cold but would have been excellent if served when ready. We had to ask 2 times for water, tea, ketchup. We asked for coffee to be served with desert, but it arrived 10 minutes later, because Danielle was MIA. The dining room manager was unaffected by the concerns. The Yacht club tacks on the tip to the bill so there is no attempt to try harder when it does not affect the wait staff. Angel was the only staff person in the dining room who hustled, tried to give friendly service and seemed to actually care about people. Danielle was extremely slow and unskilled. The newsletter stated the staff would have gloves and masks on but not all did. To pay to join and then pay again and eat with such bad service? Go somewhere where they try.

The Sarasota Yacht Club was the perfect setting for our wedding on October 8th, 2011. The newly designed club is such a beautiful nautical place. Modern meets old details so beautifully in this club. The views, the lobby, the deck area, and the comfort of the large club made our wedding spectacular. Karen Roman, director of events at the club, is amazing. Her even-keeled and detail orientated nature made planning a wedding a breeze. She coordinated well with my wedding coordinator, Keren Lifrak. Between the two of them every detail was perfect. The food was spectacular! My parents are members of the club so I have dined there often, but having great food on your wedding day seems to be quite a feat and the SYC did it! The service throughout the night was spectacular, always a refill and someone near to help out. We highly recommend the SYC for a wedding, event, or even a lunch date.

THE best private club in the area and one of the finest yacht clubs you will find anywhere. The facility, razed and rebuilt in 2010, is spectacular, the staff is like extended family, the food as good as any fine dining restaurant, wine and bar selections outstanding, the pool area warm and welcoming, and now with a complete water sports program. You won't find better! It is also a great place for special private events. SYC has nearly 850 warm and welcoming members of all ages, making it a multi-generational place where everyone always fits in. Friday night Happy Hour always feature great bands that keep the dance floor packed throughout the night. Whether a boater or not, SYC has something for everyone!

Beautiful location! You can't beat the spectacular water views, just as beautiful inside! All the boats are truly a sight to see! A must visit!!!

My wife and I enjoyed reciprocal privileges while vacationing here. The facilities and amenities are fantastic, the food is excellent, and the staff provides five-star service, especially the concierge, Suzi! If you live locally, and enjoy boating, you should definitely consider membership...we would!
