The ODC is Oriental’s club for amateur racing of sailboats of all sizes. 

We encourage sailors of all ages and skill levels to develop their skills through friendly and safe competition in a supportive environment. Along the way, you’ll make friends and have fun.

By joining ODC you can participate in races, post-race socials, and an annual meeting and awards dinner. You’ll have access to forums on our website. Your membership fees support the expenses involved in organizing races, such as insurance and maintaining our committee boat. Visit our  to join or renew or edit your profile. Don’t own a boat? We follow the rules and conventions of US Sailing. Our goal is to ensure quality, integrity, and consistency for all participants. ODC races are officiated by some of the best race officers in eastern NC. Numerous members have decades of experience as race officials, judges, and umpires. We have:
