There are numerous models from diverse shipyards and on the basis of this shapely hull many original yachts can certainly be modelled and equipped with numerous individual details. At the same time, this shapely yacht offers very good sailing characteristics for the demanding sailor and is ideal for a relaxed afternoon at the lake. Thanks to its streamlined hull with moulded keel fin, the elegant Comtesse achieves remarkable speeds in light wind conditions. But even with stronger breezes can be easily sailed, as it is a capsize-safe keel boat. With its simple design and balanced handling, it will make it much easier for newcomers to model sailing. With Comtesse, of course, all courses, from �cruising� against the wind to sailing �in front of the wind�, can be sailed effortlessly using the rudder and the sail adjustment, so that any point can be controlled and then sailed back to the starting point. The fittings set contains many visible fittings such as lamps, wheel and parts for the steering column, winches, stanchions and more. Comtesse Sailing Yacht PN: ro1072 The Comtesse is the image of a typical sailing yacht of the 1970s and 1980s. These rugged, mostly GRP (fiberglass) boats still make up the classic image of marinas across Europe. There are numerous models from diverse shipyards and on the basis of this shapely hull many original yachts can certainly be modelled and equipped with numerous individual details.

At the same time, the Comtesse Sailing Yacht offers very good sailing characteristics for the demanding sailor and is ideal for a relaxed afternoon at the lake. Thanks to its streamlined hull with moulded keel fin, the elegant Comtesse achieves remarkable speeds in light wind conditions. But even with stronger breezes can be easily sailed, as it is a capsize-safe keel boat. With its simple design and balanced handling, this will make it much easier for newcomers to model sailing, especially water worthy vessels.

With Comtesse you can go from “cruising” against the wind to sailing “in front of the wind”, and it can be sailed effortlessly using the rudder and the sail adjustment, so that at any point it can be controlled and then sailed back to the starting point.

The fittings set contains many visible fittings such as lamps, wheel and parts for the steering column, winches, stanchions and more.

The pictured wing keel is an optional part that significantly improves the sailing characteristics and righting moment of the Comtesse. This keel is also a good option for many other sailboats.

Robbe Comtesse No 1072 model sailing yacht

My late father brought this a number of years ago radio controlled yacht with the idea of using it on a local boating lake. I was told it just needs a new battery as the old one didn’t hold charge. He did do some work on it I.e. making a carrying handle. Due to ill health he never did get round to sailing it and following that it has been on display in my house for a number of years. It has its original build Manuel and a radio controller.

Expect it will need a bit of TLC as well as a new battery before it sails or does just make an interesting display piece. As you can see the flag pole and a couple of lights have come off, easy to stick back on.

I can not work out how to pack it due to its size on the stand it’s 1.6m high and just less than a meter long so will have to be collection only, Builth Wells area.

Thanks, Martin. Nobody in my Club uses sails (most of them prefer to dash around, frenetically with multi-hulls). I am off to the International Model Exhibition in Paris on Friday and so I hope to pick up some advice and maybe a kit while there. Honest, my wife has let me off the leash for 3 days...in Paris! It looks like an add on. The fairly recently built one on http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=478851 doesn't seem to have one.

Interesting photo's During a MB forum discusion about this boat, it was stated that they did not have a back stay. All three in the photo's have, as did the one I was involved with. Are there perhaps two versions of this yacht? (as in a mk11)
