Utopia II is a custom motor yacht launched in 1970 by Feadship and most recently refitted in 2008.

Based in the Netherlands and with roots dating back to 1849, Feadship is recognised as the world leader in the field of pure custom superyachts.

Utopia II measures 35.40 feet in length and has a beam of 6.90 feet. She has a gross tonnage of 172 tonnes.

Utopia II has a steel hull with a steel / teak superstructure.

De Voogt Naval Architects is an international company specialized in the design of luxury motoryachts upto a length of 100 meters. All Yachts designed by De Voogt are fully detailed and custum built, for the exclusive export market.

Her interior design is by Anita's Interiors.

Utopia II also features naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects.

Classic Feadship motor yacht Utopia II sold

The 35.2 metre classic canoe-stern motor yacht Utopia II , listed for sale by Northrop & Johnson , has been sold with Jonathan Chapman representing both buyer and seller.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects , Utopia II had an extensive $3.5 million refit in 2008 with regular upgrades since. An interior by Anita Unger accommodates six guests in three cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite and a twin, all with entertainment centres, Sony flatscreen televisions and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, her forward study has a sofa, which can be converted to a double bed.

The saloon is fully carpeted and panelled in teak, offering a bright and airy space to lounge or entertain, with different seating areas. A glass-fronted storage/china display cabinet is situated forward and there is an entertainment centre with a flatscreen television mounted on a rise and fall mechanism. Double teak and glass doors open out to the aft deck and canoe stern.

Utopia II really comes into her own on the sheltered fantail aft deck, featuring U-shaped seating in the stern, a full wet bar and fridge, and a Toshiba flatscreen television. Isinglass curtains provide protection from poor weather and mean that this area can be air conditioned or heated, as necessary.

Up on the sundeck there is comfortable seating aft on varnished lounge chairs with a full wet bar and ice maker to starboard, all sheltered by a large collapsible soft top. Her total fuel capacity of 29,400 litres and twin Detroit Diesel 460hp diesel engines translate into a range of 2,300 nautical miles at 12 knots and she is fitted with Quantum zero-speed stabilisers.

This striking classic Feadship was delivered in 1970. An extensive 2008 refit rendered the yacht in like-new condition. This $3.5-million-dollar refit included updates to virtually all the yacht’s systems while retaining her classic pedigree and the historic nature of her interior arrangement. Since 2008, she has been maintained and upgraded to the highest possible standards, ensuring her exceptional condition.

This true gentleman’s yacht has an impressive interior with paneled teak, wall-to-wall carpets and marble bathrooms. She offers three staterooms below deck and one convertible study located forward on the main deck to welcome up to eight guests aboard. All staterooms are en-suite.

The aft deck of UTOPIA II fantails, offering ample space and alfresco dining. The top deck features covered seating, loungers and a wet bar.

The 114.83ft  /35m  Custom motor yacht  ‘Utopia II’  was built in 1970 by Feadship and last refitted in 2008. Previously named Lady Angela, her luxurious interior is designed by Anita Unger and her exterior styling is by De Voogt.

Utopia II’s interior layout sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 twin cabins and 2 pullman beds. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

You’ll enjoy many leisure and entertainment facilities onboard, making her ideal for entertaining friends and family on your charter vacation. There’s plenty of space for enjoying an alfresco lunch or dinner on deck, or simply lounging in the sunshine and working on your tan.

Built with steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she has a cruising speed of 12 knots, a maximum speed of 14 knots and a range of 2,300nm from 29,400litre fuel tanks.

This impressive yacht comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the warmest of days or nights.

As you gaze at the dramatic main entrance of the 72-metre Feadship Utopia , you’ll sense that perfection is indeed attainable in the super yacht world. One of the many remarkable features of Utopia is her interior volume with 2.20m of headroom. The spaciousness is enhanced by the virtually full-length windows and laid-back styling and furnishings.

You and your party will have six decks at your disposal, one of which is normally entirely devoted to the owners and surely destined for the charter principal! Spanning some 50 metres of space, the owner’s deck offers you a private Jacuzzi and dining terrace, your own sky lounge, a gym and a stateroom with a stunning 270° semi-circular window. The incredible standard of accommodation continues in the five guest suites.

Launched in 2004 by Dutch pedigree shipyard Feadship and thoroughly refitted in 2013, yacht Utopia is regarded as one of the most handsome yachts. Her interiors were designed by RWD and accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 luxurious and spacious staterooms.

With a standout duplex sundeck space featuring a Jacuzzi 15 metres above the rest of the yacht with all-round views, luxury yacht Utopia is an escape to a new world. Utopia IV benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, notably satellite communications, keeping you connected on any voyage. Soak up the atmosphere after dark with dramatic underwater lights or elsewhere, whether you want to work, use social media or stream movies on board this yacht, you can with Wi-Fi connectivity. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by 4 x MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 24 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 33 knots with a range of up to 3,300 nautical miles at 15 knots. Her low draft of 2.2m/7'3" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Utopia IV has a good selection of water toys and accessories to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. You'll be loving the huge adrenaline rush as you zip over the water on one of the WaveRunners. Additionally, there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Utopia IV also features fishing equipment and snorkelling equipment. When it's time to travel from land to see, it couldn't be easier with a 7.01m/23' Castoldi Tender.

In total, she provides you and your charter party with a total of magnificent six decks to utilise at your discretion. One of which is normally entirely devoted to the owners and/or the yacht charter principal. This owners’ deck spans 50 square meters of space and offers a private Jacuzzi and dining terrace, your own sky lounge, a gym and of course a stateroom (with a stunning 270° semi-circular window). The beautifully appointed and spacious accommodation continues into the remaining five guest suites.

The Feadship UTOPIA offers 4 guest decks an owners' deck and ample exterior and interior living spaces. The interior is the work of Redman Whiteley Dixon and boasts a spacious layout with a classically elegant and sophisticated ambience. The yacht was finished with some of the finest marbles, oak panels and burl inlays, including the addition in 2008, of a stunning marble central stair case, leading to all guest decks.

The décor features refined bespoke soft furnishings in earthy natural tones. The main salon is generous with ample seating including sofas, occasional chairs, ottomans and coffee tables. Forward a credenza separates the formal dining area where an impressive burl and oak dining table seats guests in luxury.

Motor yacht UTOPIA offers 2 VIP cabins with king size beds forward on the main deck, benefitting from idyllic sea views.

Aft of the main salon the expansive aft deck boasts an alfresco dining option and extended swim platform, from which the good choice of water toys are easily accessed.

Above the main deck, the middle deck is dedicated to the owners' suite offering a large forward facing cabin, with king size bed and 180° vistas, gym, lounge and private aft deck with chaise lounges and alfresco dining area, ideal for a family setting. The deck wraps around the yacht, where forward is a deluxe private Spa Pool tub and sun pads.

UTOPIA boasts a skylounge with further plush bespoke furnishings, wet bar and fireplace; the ideal place to enjoy and evening aperitif and unwind. Aft of the skylounge a large sundeck offers plenty of chaise lounges, sunpads and an optional Bimini cover. A central exterior stair case leads to the sundeck with a large Spa Pool tub and ample sunpads.

With a staggering 11.4m (37.5ft) beam, this multi deck vessel is sure to turn heads and be the envy of many as you gracefully cruise by. At anchor, the yacht enjoys an abundance of water toys to keep everyone entertained. A crew of 17 is on hand to ensure a memorable and relaxing luxury charter experience.

Some of the charter related works include: • Marble restoration in master shower. • Wall panel replacement in master cabin. • Ceiling panel replacement in Sky Lounge & Sky Lounger foyer. • New carpet in gym. • New paint applied to the mast, bridge deck house, owners deck house and foredeck. • Upgrades done to the bridge navigational equipment. • All new Exterior furniture on heli deck, owners deck aft and main deck. • New beach set up to comfortably seat 12 guests including 2.3m x 4.5m tents. 4 large tables, 4 large umbrellas, 4 sun loungers & 2 BBQ’s. • New / updated audio video system. • New beach / boat toys.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

UTOPIA provides superb accommodation for up to 12 charter guests in the following layout: The middle deck boasts the Owner’s stateroom forward with an excellent view - Spa Pool and private owner’s deck forward with seating around. Further down on the lower deck there are two twin-bedded guest staterooms with Pullmans and en suites head/bath. The main deck features two equal king-sized VIP staterooms, full width, each with en suite with tub and shower. There is also a twin-bedded guest cabin, full width, to starboard offering en suite bathroom with a tub and shower.

UTOPIA yacht has a special place in the Feadship league of launches. The owner’s brief to the De Vries shipyard was very simple: build a yacht that would justify her name. Subject to no particular constraints the 71.6 metre (235’) yacht was planned with three priorities in mind: huge internal volume, unprecedented glazed areas and highly automated systems. The six decks of Utopia superyacht include a duplex sun deck, an entire owner’s deck and a vast main deck that provides both indoor and outdoor entertaining space. A lower deck gives crew a superb living environment and an under lower deck enables them to operate the yacht without needing access to guest areas.

The Owner’s deck provides a gargantuan 50 metres of space on one level with a private Jacuzzi and dinning terrace, gym and a master cabin facing a 270° semi-circular window.

The distinctive feature of UTOPIA’s volume is that huge swathes of space were kept intact and not subdivided into small rooms. It is a great example of less being so much more. With 2.2 metre headroom and almost full-length glazing, UTOPIA yacht has some of the lightest and largest entertaining areas of any private yacht of her size. The interior is subtly styled with the finest-quality materials. Carrara marble and light oak panelling with burl-oak inlays form the backdrop to Redman Whiteley Dixon’s laid-back choice of fabrics and furniture. Main Salon & Dining

Two 4 1/2 meter sliding glass doors on the main deck allow a connection between indoors and out. Step into her spacious and well-appointed main salon featuring elegant contemporary furnishings and lighting built into her walls creating a natural light effect. She has been outfitted in creamy whites, muted grays, and light woods—letting pops of turquoise and the ocean views offered up from the floor-to-ceiling windows reign supreme. A dedicated bar is located on her port side as you enter providing a comfortable refuge to enjoy a craft cocktail. A large TV is hidden cleverly in a mirror forward of the seating area.

Forward of the main salon is her dedicated dining room divided from the main salon by a partition of rich wood paneling. Lights are built into her walls and ceiling creating a comfortable and elegant dining experience for guests. Twelve guests can dine comfortably in this generous space.

Master Stateroom & Lounge

Unsurprisingly, the forward-facing owner’s suite is the vessel’s crown jewel. Besides its palatial proportions, it is filled with sexy details - the bedroom overlooks a glass-enclosed Jacuzzi bath separating his and her bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out onto a 20-foot-long fixed balcony for enjoying the outdoors in complete privacy. A dedicated owner's salon and office allow owner's to watch TV or curl up with a good book in complete privacy.

Just aft of the bridge is the vessel's skylounge which was designed with family in mind. Kick back and watch a movie on her hidden TV or enjoy a competitive game of cards. A pantry is located off the skylounge for quick guest service.

Forward of the skylounge is a dedicated playroom for kids which features a large TV and couch.

The lower deck features a large reception area with a beautiful swimming pool with fantastic views of the surrounding ocean.
