April 22, 2004 Oss, Holland -- Heesen Yachts launched its second yacht of 2004 -- the 123’ (37 meters) M/Y Lady Ingeborg. In the North Sea on her initial trials, Lady Ingeborg averaged 27 knots into six to eight foot seas. This yacht is a high speed twin screw motoryacht and is powered by two MTU 12V4000 engines. Lady Ingeborg is the first in a series of five yachts currently under construction. The first three boats in this series have been sold. This vessel is owned by a Dutch businessman and will be displayed in the south of France at Bal De La Mer in June and at the Monaco Boat Show in September. Lady Ingeborg will also be at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October. Renowned designer Frank Laupman of Omega Architecten was responsible for designing the 3700 Series. Acclaimed yachts from the Heesen fleet like No Escape, Lady Halima, Duke Town and Honey Money all came from his pen. Backed up by his superb craftsmanship and experience, his 3700 Series design does justice to all of the contemporary requirements for speed, styling, functionality and sheer beauty.

Thank you for the picture Maarten! It looks even more sleek and sinsiter than Lady Inborg. The half-blue flag hull works well with the lines of Heesen's 3700 series. It appears you are WAY ahead of the media. I haven't received anything from Chatty yet. Good job!
Then you probably haven't seen this one yet either..... This picture was also taken yesterday at the yard in Oss, The Netherlands

The 3700 "In The Bones"... Cool! I wish we had more pictures like this on YachtForums... no joke. There is so much to be learned through the building process and it gives all of our readers a greater appreciation of the complexity of yacht construction. Thanks again for keeping us in the loop Maarten. We're gonna have to put you on the payroll.

The Heesen 3700 built as "Lady Ingeborg" is now called "Necklace II" as most of you know. She sports a light grey half hull now instead of the tan colour.
