Motor yacht SUNRISE is the ninth MEDITERRANEO 116 model from the series by the renowned Italian shipyard Benetti. She measures 35.5m/116ft and has an elegant and flowing exterior design by Giorgio M. Cassetta and bright modern interiors designed by Benetti's in-house department. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over five en-suite cabins, with a professional crew of 7 sleeping in 4 cabins.

The main deck aft provides is a sheltered alfresco lounge with a sofa along the stern accompanied by a coffee table and a pair of armchairs. Two stairways lead down to the lower deck swim platform, where guests have access to the tender and water toys.
The upper deck has an alfresco dining area to serve 10 to port of the doors into the skylounge, and the aft has a port and aft sofa around a coffee table. The foredeck can be accessed via side walkways along the main deck before ascending the stairs, or through the helm station. There is a sofa and table in front of the helm station for casual meals and drinks while taking in the views, and two sunbeds are placed farther forward followed by a Jacuzzi on the foredeck, and room on the bow for outdoor exercise such as yoga.
Up on the sundeck guests have the best views on board while resting on the sun loungers along the stern. The amidships section hosts an alfresco dining area for 12 and a wet bar, and the forward area has more sunbeds for all guests to rest comfortably after a delicious multi-course meal.
The lower deck layout places the crew accommodation with mess and laundry facilities forward, followed by the guest accommodation amidships which is accessed by a separate stairway to maintain guest privacy. The engine room is aft, followed by the tender garage in the stern.
The Master suite is forward on the main deck, the galley amidships to port and the main foyer with day head to starboard. The formal dining area and main salon are combined into one large space where up to 10 guests can dine in glamorous surroundings with glass sliding doors on both sides creating a more alfresco experience. The salon is comprised of a curving sofa and coffee table to port, a widescreen TV and two armchairs and side tables beside the starboard windows. Glass sliding doors open out onto the main deck aft for effortless indoor-outdoor flow.
On the upper deck, the Captain's cabin is to port behind the helm station and the foyer to starboard. The aft skylounge is the main salon in miniature, offering a curved sofa to port, a widescreen TV and two armchairs and a side table beside the starboard windows, creating a tranquil environment for reading or conversation at any time of the day.
The engines provide a top speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 3,200 nautical miles at 10 knots.

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests across 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. ~ The Master suite is placed on the main deck forward and is furnished with a double bed with a widescreen TV opposite, a sofa to port and a walk-in-wardrobe behind, and an armchair and side table beneath the starboard windows. The between the main foyer and the bedroom there is an office that has additional closet space. The forward en-suite bathroom has his-and-hers entrances with a sink and toilet on both sides and a shared central shower. ~ On the lower deck the double cabins are aft of amidships to port and starboard respectively. Within, there is a double bed, widescreen TV, desk/vanity, large wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. ~ The twin cabins are forward of the double cabins to port and starboard respectively, and have two single beds, a widescreen TV, wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. ~ The expert crew of 7 will be on hand to take care of every detail.

Benetti launches 35m Sunrise

Last week, Benetti, the Italian superyacht manufacturer, launched Sunrise , the ninth unit of its Mediterraneo 116 series, 35m fibreglass vessel in the Class category. According to the yard, exterior lines designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta deliver large lounge areas for its size and bright interior spaces that were created by Benetti’s interior style department according to the owner’s requests.
Sunrise offers a variety of external spaces. Including a 80sqm Sun Deck. She has three decks and can host up to 10 guests across five cabins, with seven crewmembers in four cabins. Sunrise has a range of 3,200 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.
According to the superyacht agency, Benetti delivered a total of 12 superyacht projects in 2020, equalling its record year since 2016 with 12 deliveries also recorded in 2018. Given the strain that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on industries across the globe, a record equalling year for the Italian outfit paints an incredibly positive picture of its performance. With 16 deliveries scheduled for delivery in 2021, including a number of projects that have understandably slid over from 2020, Benetti is inline for its most productive year and with a further 14 projects scheduled for delivery in 2022, its output appears strong.
In the soon-to-be-published The Superyacht New Build Report , Benetti ranks as the second most productive shipyard in terms of cumulative units and the most productive yard in terms of cumulative LOA between 2016-2020, delivering 54 30m-plus superyachts with a combined LOA of 2639.7m, which attests to the breadth of the shipyard’s portfolio when compared with other shipyards.

Designed by Stefano Righini , Sunrise was built in GRP by Italian yard Benetti to RINA class and MCA coded with delivery in 2011 as a Delfino 93 model. A neutral interior by Carlo Galeazzi makes use of natural oak joinery, steel and glass, with accommodation for up to ten guests in a five-cabin configuration. There is a master suite, two VIP suites and two twins, all with en suite bathroom facilities, and further accommodation for a crew of four. Settees to port and starboard are found in the main saloon, alongisde two chairs, coffee and end tables. Forward sits a dining area for up to ten guests. Stand out design features on the bridge deck include a large Jacuzzi next to a sun pad, aft of additional seating and a large bar. To starboard is a steel barbecue grill underneath a hard top which also shelters the forward helm and seating area. Twin 557hp MTU diesel engines give her a range of 1,500 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots and she is fitted with zero-speed stabilisers. Sunrise was asking €3,900,000.
