On April 6, 2024, the Philippines Aggressor II ™ begins her inaugural “Tubbataha Reef” itinerary charters, which depart from Puerto Princesa, Philippines. These seven and ten-night excursions dive the Tubbataha Reefs National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, through June 2024. In June, the yacht journeys to the Visayan Sea. Guests may join this unique transition charter diving both Tubbataha and the Visayas region.

June through February, the Philippines Aggressor II ™ and her sister ship, the Philippines Aggressor ® , dive sites near Cebu, Malapascua, Apo and Bohol Islands during “Best of Visayas” and “Visayas South” itineraries. Visayas charters depart from Mactan, except on special occasions, they depart from Dumaguete.

Built by Almaroon Yacht Builders, the new yacht is 140-feet (43 meters) long, and 26-feet (8 meters) wide with four spacious decks. Five upper-level staterooms feature balconies , which provide panoramic views of south Pacific sunsets. Eight deluxe lower-level staterooms include twin berths and ample personal storage. All staterooms are equipped with a media player, climate control, and ensuite full bathroom. Other amenities include a hot tub and wet bar on the fly bridge, indoor lounge, restaurant serving delicious, chef-prepared meals, and state-of-the-art scuba facilities including Nitrox tank fills and two dive tenders.

One woman remains missing. The bodies of Lynch, who had been celebrating his recent acquittal on fraud charges with his family and the people who had defended him at trial in the United States, and five others were recovered by rescue crews following Monday’s tragedy.

The Bayesian, a 184-foot British-flagged yacht, went down in a storm early Monday as it was moored about a kilometer (half a mile) offshore. Civil protection officials said they believe the ship was struck by a tornado over the water, known as a waterspout, and sank quickly.

The chief executive of The Italian Sea Group, which owns the Bayesian’s manufacturer, said superyachts like these are “the safest in the most absolute sense.”

“First of all, because they have very little surface compared to a yacht facing into the wind,” CEO Giovanni Costantino told Sky News on Wednesday. “Second, with the structure, the drift keel, they become unsinkable bodies.”

Investigators are now looking at why the Bayesian sank, killing at least six people. A seventh remains missing.

Fifteen of the 22 people aboard survived, including a mother who reported holding her 1-year-old baby over the waves to save her.

Divers have struggled to find the bodies in the yacht’s hull on the seabed 164 feet underwater.

“We would need a crystal ball to know when we’ll be able to find the next body,” said Luca Cari, spokesperson for the fire rescue service.

“It’s very difficult to move inside the wreckage. Moving just one meter can take up to 24 hours,” Cari said.

PORTICELLO, Sicily (AP) — The Italian coast guard said Thursday the body of British tech magnate Mike Lynch is among those recovered off the coast of Sicily from the wreckage of a superyacht whose builders had called it unsinkable.

Timmerman Yachts is a large scale Dutch-Russian consortium superyacht building yard who constructs top quality displacement motor yachts. Timmerman superyachts are built at Moscow Shipyard which is the leading Russian partner in the Timmerman Yachts project. Other European Members of the project include some of the leading Dutch naval architects and designers of large displacement yachts such as Vripack , Guido de Groot Design and Ginton Naval Architects . Additionally, Timmerman Yachts enjoys the involvement of leading British designers Jon Bannenberg Ltd and Francis Design Ltd.

The range of semi-custom private yachts currently built by Timmerman Yachts and designed by their European partners includes models ranging from 26 – 47m, namely the TM26, TM33, TM40 and TM47. Timmerman Yachts was founded in 2003 and named after Franz Timmerman (1644-1702) who introduced Dutch boat building methods to Russia in the 17th century. Timmerman is credited with convincing Peter the First of both the importance and the charm of maritime affairs and he was entrusted with the construction of great fleets of both naval and trading vessels. As well as forging links between two Great European Embassies, Franz Timmerman was also able to arrange for Tsar Peter to study at the Amsterdam boat yards where the Tsar got his "Certificate of Timmerman" as ship joiner.

The yachting company continues this very successful Russian-Dutch partnership, with more than 1000 people who studied in Holland now working at Timmerman Yachts at the Moscow Shipyard in Russia. The name of Franz Timmerman, co-founder of the Russian Navy, is honoured in the title of this project. "Our aim is to build the best motor yachts from the point of view of the ratio “price-quality”, combining in them the newest technologies of European yacht-building with reliability of Russian ship-building, having military roots" -  Dmitry Mironenkov, the president of Timmerman Yachts.

Timmerman has  powerful production capabilities, broad experience, exceptional  specialist knowledge, and cooperation with the leading Dutch Naval Architects which enable them to realize the most incredible and daring ideas into their superyacht projects. The consortium enables its client to receive a luxury motor yacht with unlimited range and best consumer qualities, at an attractive price and in reasonable time.
