13.5 Feet 1950's Chris Craft Kit Boat

Kit Boat and Trailer and Chris Craft Outboard Motor. Great addition to a collection!

15 Feet 2022 Custom Built Launch

Built based on modified plans of a Harold H. "Dynamite" Payson design. Harold's original design was called the 'Cartopper' , an 11 foot open boat designed for either paddle or sail. I fell in love with the overall lines of the boat but wanted something larger - something that could be powered. I assembled the boat using the 'stitch-n-glue' technique outlined in Harold's plans. The side and bilge panels are of 3/8" ply with the bottom panel of 3/4" ply. The hull is fiber-glassed up to the gunwales and sealed with epoxy. The 'stitch-n-glue' technique makes for a very solid hull without the need for heavy internal framing. As a result, the boat is exceeding light despite the engine and running gear and can be easily towed by a small car or SUV.

17 Feet 1953 Alexandria Boat Works Outboard

From Alexandria Boat Works in in Minnesota, this magnificently crafted cedar strip planked boat is a truly beautiful example of a great quality regional boat builder. This particular boat is in fantastic condition with a nearly pristine hull. Pictures and video from May of 2024 show what a gem this boat is. The Evinrude outboard runs and sounds great. Alexandria Boat Works was a family business that made a variety of wood boats for 67 years until 1954 when they turned to fiberglass boats. The frames and strip planking on this boat are like no other. The plank seams are nearly undetectable on this smooth hull and it has been said ABW was one of the boat builders who claimed to have invented or at least perfected the convex-concave hull strips. The detail and craftsmanship in this boat is truly amazing.

14 Feet 1956 Yellow Jacket Capri Deluxe

This boat was my father's gift to himself after he graduated from Notre Dame. We used to take this boat to New Hampshire every year until we moved to CO in 1972. Since then it has only been in the water a handful of times and the last time was in 1988. 1956 Mahogany panel boat and 1956 Mastercraft trailer. This boat has always been garaged. It has not been in the water or towed since 1988. This boat will need a full refinish/restore before being sea worthy. Yellow Jacket boats were crafted in Dennison, TX. The motor is a 1956 Mercury 55 (40 hp). It has also not been started since 1988. My father and I last had this boat in the water and it ran beautifully at that time, although there was a slight leak in the transom. Be the next owner of this beautiful collector boat. You will need to flatbed this boat and trailer, The trailer has not had maintenance since 1988 and I would imagine the wheel bearings will need to be cleaned and repacked. The rubber on the tires is at least 35 years old. I have the original sale paperwork from when my father bought the boat new. The boat is located in Colorado Springs 1956 Mahogany panel boat and 1956 Mastercraft trailer. This boat has always been garaged. It has not been in the water or towed since 1988. 16' Feet 1940s - 1960s? Chestnut Canoe Company N.B.

Vintage cedar strip canoe! Own a piece of history! Beautiful, fully restored, 16-foot vintage canoe from the Chestnut Canoe Company, N.B. Likely the Prospector model with v-shaped transom stern. So smooth on the water. As you can see from the pictures, it’s in great shape. There is -- full-disclosure -- a damaged spot on the ribs near the bow, about the size of a lady's fist. It doesn’t affect the vessel's seaworthiness at all as it is near the rail and it isn’t big enough to affect the sturdiness of the structure.

30 Feet 1950 Hunter Utility

It was bought in the 70s as a family excursion boat but never did get to the water. It has been sitting in a garage all this time, waiting for a new owner.

18 Feet 1962 Skee Craft Cruiser

I am selling our antique 1962 Volvo Penta Skee Craft Two sleeper cabin cruiser with Volvo-PentaV4 engine. I got her about ten years ago and I am the third owner of this boat. I don’t want to part with her, but in ten years, I have not had the time or energy to restore her. I am getting older and I think its time to let this project go. She was outside for two years and in storage for the rest. I want her to go to someone who loves wood boats, would restore her and see her return to lake life. This boat was built in PA by the Amish. The Amish hand sanded this boat. She is made of white oak, mahogany and marine plywood. The deck, cabin and seats are white oak. The Volvo Penta engine, model AQ-145 inboard/outboard motor. It was rebuilt in 1984 with a complete rebuild in 2002. I have not started her in six years, sorry. We are asking $3000.00 which includes the trailer.

14ft Feet 1959 Crestliner Jet Streak

Had original paint stripped and special aluminum primer applied before painting. Father & son projected. Boys moved away and dont get to the lake much.

14 Feet 1961 Arkansas Traveler Rocket

The boat was my brothers pride and joy. He left me with it but I would like to sell it to someone who can use it and take care of it. My brother saw the boat in his friend's yard in the early 2000's. He bought the boat and started working on it right away. He even devoted his garage to it for several years. In the process he stripped and painted the hull. He also bought new parts and had some others re-chromed. You could tell he loved the Rocket by the time and money he spent on it. Both the boat and trailer have titles. Extras that come with the boat are in the pictures. [PRICE REDUCED - APRIL 2024 - from $6,900 to $3,000 by a motivated owner. Make an offer!]

14 Feet 1970's Kawartha Metis Canoe

This beautiful canoe was made by the Kawartha Métis & N.S. Indian Association (Burleigh Falls, Ontario, Canada) in the 1970's.  Many aspects are very similar to boats built by Peterborough including the ribs, decking, and coamings. It is a fine example of Canadian craftsmanship and is in outstanding original condition. Enjoy a luxurious ride on your favorite lake or use this as a magnificent show piece for your home, B&B or business. This canoe has always been stored indoors, in temperature control and away from direct sunlight. Meticulously cared for over the years and maintained. It was last in the water in 2019 and is watertight and sea worthy. We're selling this beauty because although we love this boat we don't use it with our young kids and we're renovating and need the space. We hope it finds a new home that enjoys it as much as we have. 2 vintage wooden paddles are also included. Although not restored (one has a crack in the blade) they look good and are perfect for a simple DIY restoration project).

16 Feet 1940 Peterborough

Cedar double ended rowing skiff with spoon oars with leathers. Boat came from Muskoka area. Had been owned by the Hand family then another party in Ontario. I got it about 20 years ago and subsequently had some strips, 1/2 keel and a stem replaced by the instructors at Urban Boatbuilders in St Paul. the outer hull was stripped and I varnished with Deks Olje. Our use at the cottage was great but our use is inconvenient by the repeated in and out with soaking when we would return after a few weeks away. Deck batten boards need repair or replacement. All original hardware including the rare foot brace. Interior and gunwales could/should be refinished. Has been in dry storage for 5 years. No trailer, can car top or fit inside a van. Wonderful rowing. Can assist with delivery.

17 Feet 1958 Chris-Craft Sportsman

(2) complete steering system from wheel through linkage to rudder, (3) drive shaft and prop, (4) fuel tank and lines, (5) instruments but in poor condition, (6) seats and engine cover in sound structural condition but covered in vinyl, and (7) parts to the three barrel carburetor from the original engine.

17 Feet 1914 B. N. Morris Heavy Water Canoe

This canoe is very similar to a 1910s-1920s Old Town but was built by the B. N. Morris Canoe Company in Veazie, Maine in 1914. Morris produced wood and canvas canoes from 1891 until fire destroyed the factory late in 1919. The 17-foot Heavy Water canoe was apparently shipped to Maryland in 1915. It later found its way to the hands of a Warren Proctor, who owned a camp in northern Pittsburg, New Hampshire where it spent most of its life being paddled on the first Connecticut River lake. Upon his death, she was acquired by the current owner. It has been stored inside since. The factory green was repainted with a blue tone which is now cracked and in need of a refresh. The hull is in great shape, no cracked rips or internal damage. The keel is in good shape. The brass bow-strip has fallen off but is still with the boat. Original seats are intact. The canoe also sports a new custom-built floor rack, a brass flagpole socket, a painter ring and a period-correct Old Town decal. Additionally, the canoe comes with an original Old Town canoe chair, pennant, mast-top ribbon, photos of the recent restoration, and a copy of the original Old Town build record. 16' Feet 1959 Cruisers, Inc. Lapstrake Outboard

We bought this boat from the original owners, a married couple in their 90's who had not been able to put it in the water for over ten years and finally decided it needed owners who would appreciate and use it. Engine tuned up in 2016 with new points, plugs and throttle cable. Last in the water in 2021 and ran great!! Hull has been scraped, sealed and spot primed. Needs final coats of paint. Comes with new covers Bimini and Convertible top. Always stored indoors.

14 Feet 1940's Aykroyd International 14 Sailboat

This boat was purchased in Desbarat, Ontario of unclear lineage though it appears to be in the International 14 style of the Aykroyd skiffs. It lived on Basswood Lake for two seasons before weathering a storm while moored off. The thought is that one of the stays broke and the wrenching of the mast foot opened some of the planks and sent the boat to the bottom. It was brought up the next day and put into storage for the last decade. It is a project boat with a little of everything required; new paint, a few new ribs/planks, new deck canvas, new hardware.

16 Feet 1938 Old Town Canoe

A 1938 Old Town sponson canoe for which I have the information on when it was laid up, delivered, and sold by Abercrombie & Fitch. It is in very good condition and has been used sparingly in recent years.

14' Feet 1961 Beaver Boat & Marine Sea Fury

The Beaver Boat & Marine Co. manufactured wooden boats in Orillia, Ontario for only two years - 1960 and 1961. This boat was purchased by my grandfather in Winnipeg in 1962. It was used exclusively on our lake in the Whiteshell for 30-some years before the motor became an issue, us kids all grew up, and it fell out of use. Since then it has sat in our boathouse, and it's time to pass it on. Other than needing a refinishing it's in great shape. The Mercury engine has been stored safely all these years as well, but wasn't in working order when it was last on the lake.

18 Feet 1928 Peterborough Traveler Inboard

This is a very rare model of Peterborough and a must-have for the Peterborough collector. The traveler model was only built in limited numbers and was one of the company's early efforts to break into the inboard boat market. The design was very utilitarian with no windshield and center-position steering. She is quite heavily built compared to other Peterborough boats of the era. Powered by a Universal Flexi-4 engine, predecessor to the Atomic-4. Some restoration work has been started and she is now ready for a craftsman to take over the job!

16 Feet 1915 F.H. Darrow Portable Rowboat

Steel manufacturing was quite an industry in the early 1900's, and manufacturers such as Mullins and F.H. Darrow took advantage of the growing market for watercraft and began to build marketable boats. F.H. Darrow Steel Boat Manufacturing Co. built this portable rowboat around 1915 when trailers were uncommon and the automobile was quickly gaining in popularity. They developed an ingenious design where a 16' rowboat could be broken down into 3 independent segments, nested one inside the other, and mounted on the running board of a car! Not only is the boat easily portable; each section can float independently. This design is very unique and represents an era when the concept of travel by road took off! She has been nicely restored and is complete with oars. Full documentation available.

-- Feet 1919 Marine Bathroom Fixture

From 1882 to the 1930's only two companies from New York City made bathroom fixtures which became common place on boats and rail cars. The most attractive and successful design was the fold down sink which was ideal for close quarters. They were used on Chris Craft Commuters, Elco's, Robinson Seagull's, Richardson's, Sea Lyon's, American Car and Foundry's and Wheeler Playmate's. This fiberglass boat is in fair condition and would make a great boat for any restoration effort. Dorst who was a US Navy veteran and the company President.

19 Feet 1974 Century Arabian

Project Boat! This is a restorable, Classic Arabian...desirable Century made boat. No engine, but the original v-drive, propeller shaft, prop and rudder are all there. I believe all hardware, trim and interior components are there and included. The engine stringers are soft and need to be replaced and re-fiberglassed...other than that, a straight forward reassembly. Have transferable registration for both boat and trailer...will provide buyer with a bill of sale for each.

This is a free turning by pull cord or starter motor for parts or rebuild. Shift/speed control Station with 6 ft cables. Motor has no wiring harness.Cowl has been brush painted, but is sound. Motor foot seems to be O K , and responds to shifting positions. Local pick-up in Pensacola, FL; or will deliver within 400 miles at $.50 per mile, or crate and ship to buyer for actual agreed cost. The motor on the boat is what this one can look like when properly restored.

14 Feet 1948 Custom Kit Outboard

This boat is old (64 yrs) and will get a lot of attention and admiration anywhere you go, lots original and a few necessary/convenience upgrades. Has a top cover that could be replaced or used as is, side vinyls are in pretty good shape, prop is a bit rough and original, but serves its function. The motor is a late 70's Merc 200, fires up every time like a champ, well maintained, has a hydro plane fin on motor. Steel drain basin, good to hit the water as soon as you can license it!

16 Feet 1915 Adirondack 'Church Boat'

This boat is early 1900's and is known as an "Adirondack Church Boat" apparently for the ability to place an outboard engine on the transom instead of rowing to church. Same hull design as guide boat, except for square transom. Deck, front and rear have been replaced and could be better done (not done as original). This is a very unique boat of both design and ability. A perfect small Adirondack lake boat in very good condition. More photos available on request.

This 17 foot OTCA Old Town Canoe was given to me by my sons for my 50th birthday. It was lovingly cared for and used on Lake Wentworth , New Hampshire for 18 years and has been in my garage for the last 10 years not being used. We have the build sheet history and great memories of the canoe but are simply not using it any longer.

17'6 Feet 1903 Rowing Skiff

This boat was purchased in 1903 by a Mr. Loggie who has long since passed away. I bought thye boat in the 1970's and had it retsorede by a well known boat builder by the name of Philias Jimmo in the early 1970's and it is still in excellent condition today. While the boat appears to be of unknown origin it has been reviewed by people such as R. J . Cunningham the author of ship building in Atlantic Canada and the Chatham Museum.

16 Feet 1913 Lakefield Canoe Co. Torpedo

One of the real classic Canoes in the history of Ontario. This 16 ft Cedar strip Lakefield canoe was made in Lakefield, Ontario in the early 1900's. Trim lines and a low profile make foe a very fast canoe. Covered, 1990, with a very light and transparent fiberglass coat means no "soaking up" is required to make it watertight with no loss of visual appeal. Note the unusual architecture of the front and rear decks. Thought to be the "Torpedo" model . Excellent condition as an heirloom and as a fully functional and usable canoe.

This is a nice little Wolverine, with two engines available and a trailer. Wagemaker is a very desired classic outboard boat and this is a nice example. Not in the water for many years..but well stored and cared for. Very hard to find this model so take a good look. Fairly priced. In need of refinishing...of course. All else is good to go. The boat is offered with 2 motors inlcuded as a package and the boat is rigged for both of them. They are a 10 HP Johnson Sea Horse built in 1952 and the other is a 1960 40 HP Johnson Sea Horse. Both of these run well.

17.5 Feet 1950 Century Resorter

Never restored, fresh water cooled with eccentric driven water pump. Superb bronze "make and break" low tension ignition. Has good compression, runs. This is one of only a very few Palmer S-1 in our galaxy. Might consider a "code" steam boiler as possible partial trade.

12 Feet 1930 Old Town Square Stern Canoe

This is a lovely Old Town square stern canvas canoe. it has been completely restored and rebuilt from its original construction in the 1930's. The canoe is all new with the exception of the ribs. It is painted red and looks almost too nice to put in the water. It was originally a 16 foot canoe which had to be altered because the last 4 feet were beyond repair.
