Perus Yacht Design Romain Scolari Design Jonas Hertwig

The Yacht Design Collective was founded by 3 individuals with the same goal: to join design, engineering and naval architecture and complement these skills with a common vision (towards boat design). Jonas, founder of Jonas Hertwig Design studied product design in the Netherlands and shaped his form language in various European studios before heading south to Milan to complete a master degree in boat design. His studio works with various clients in the design field with a strong focus on yacht design.   François, founder of Perus Yacht Design, studied naval architecture and offshore engineering in Brittany and Paris. Trained later in Australia and Asia he set up his company in France and focused in multihull designs. Romain studied with François and then joined a Parisian boat design office. After gaining experience especially in special projects in floating architecture and river boat design he founded Romain Scolari Design. This mix of skills allows YDC to cover a wide range of projects and to manage each step of the design and engineering process. From a 4m kayak to 40m floating bar, from a 6m sport sailing trimaran to blue water cruiser, custom one off design to series production, YDC thrives to offer the best answer to a client requirements. AMERICA’S CUP

Ranging from Areva Challenge in 2004 to the first AC75 for Team New Zealand in 2011, all of Guillaume Verdier’s designs for the America’s Cup can be found here.

Comanche is a 100 foot racing sailboat designed by Guillaume Verdier – VPLP for skipper Ken Read.

Guillaume Verdier Naval Architecture

Guillaume Verdier and his team design monohull and multihull prototypes for competition; however, they regularly share their skills in designing dinghies and cruising boats.

Some of their major collaboration projects have been in partnership with Emirates New Zealand, assisting with the design of the AC72 during the 34 th  edition, the AC50 during the 35 th  edition and the AC75 during the 36 th  edition of the America’s Cup. Among other projects, there are several Open 60s and Class40s, which have been designed for solo racing. Whether it’s for a 100-foot monohull, a Mini 6.50, a 50-footer or a dinghy; their attention to detail remains unchanged.

Over the past years, Guillaume Verdier has collaborated with various architects and engineers, including Benjamin Muyl, Hervé Penfornis and Romaric Neyhousser, Len Imas, Romain Garo, Véronique Soulé, Pierre Louis Pilot, Yohan Roy and Morgane Schlumberger; all having contributed to projects.

The Pulse 600 trimaran is a compact big sailboat, not an oversized small boat. Featuring lightweight carbon reinforced construction, and the same vacuum-formed materials as the rest of the trimaran range, this sailing trimaran will get your pulse racing in event the lightest of winds. The Pulse 600 is a sport trimaran that is about pure fun.

Designed for convenient, easy trailering, easy rigging and setup, the Pulse 600 trimaran can be quickly launched, unfolded, and get out on the water. The open cockpit is designed for a crew of up to four but can equally be sailed single or double handed. Versatility is a key feature of this trimaran and the forward area provides enough storage and cover for day sailing / weekend adventures or can simply be left empty for go-fast racing. DUAL TILLER EXTENSIONS

These tiller extensions transmit subtle boat and rudder movements, allowing you to steer by the feel of the helm. The simple and lightweight design has no unnecessary frills—every aspect contributes to its strength, stiffness, or comfort.

OUTBOARD BRACKET

A reinforced composite bracket for the Pulse 600 which helps you to mount the outboard engine quickly and easily.

If you are planning to install a spinnaker head sail on your Pulse you will need to have this bowsprit option and the associated deck hardware installed (See options 17371 and 17480, or 17143) the downwind sheeting and tack line control or a top-down spinnaker furler.

DOWN WIND SHEETING

This kit will include all hardware needed for the full functioning of the carbon bowsprit. If you plan to have a spinnaker or screacher this is a required option

The flag of Omsk Oblast is a rectangular cloth of three vertical bands of equal size: the right and left red and white medium. In the centre of the white band, there is a blue vertical wavy azure pole which is 1/3 of its width.

The ratio of the flag's width to its length is 2:3.

The interpretation of symbols [ ]

The main background of the flag of Omsk Oblast is red. It symbolizes bravery, courage, fearlessness. It is the colour of life, charity, and love.

The white symbolizes nobility, purity, justice, generosity, and indicates the climatic features of Siberia.

The wavy azure (blue) post symbolizes the Irtysh River, the main waterway of the oblast. Allegorically, the blue reflects beauty, majesty, and gentleness.
