Cactus club was amazing in food ,ambiance and service. Shayla our host was friendly and competent.We were not expecting such ... yummy offerings in Kelowna. My salmon was moist and tasted heavenly.We tried quite a few things on the menu and all weretasty.The view of the lake and surrounding mountains adds to the total package.I totally recommend this place.???????? Food is consistently good though a bit pricey,. Atmosphere is lively with a good mix of customers. Service can be a bit rushed ... and chaotic (asking how everything tastes before anyone takes first bite). Drinks are pricey unless it is on the happy hourmenu. Server Ali was great. Food took a long time to get served though - he said there was a delay at the steak station, after about ... 50 mins of waiting. He did offer dessert on the house but we were too full and not really keen on the desserts. Had the 4mushrooms steak. Asparagus was tough, steak, which I'd asked for medium, was more medium-well (ie overcooked), but the mashedpotato was good. Drank a Fros?, which is basically frozen ros?, I thought, which was ok. Sis ordered the crispy tofu bowl, whichcame with rice. Was too spicy for her. If she'd been told it was spicy I don't think she'd have ordered it. Niece had the friedchicken strips. It was ok. She had to swap with me sis cos the tofu was too spicy. The avocado and kale salad was ok though Ithought not enough avocado. At our lakefront location in the heart of downtown Kelowna, we provide our members with top-quality moorage in Canada's largest fresh-water marina, excellent food and beverage service, social events and opportunities to assist others in the community. A not-for-profit volunteer-run organization, we've been supporting boater education and safe, responsible enjoyment of Okanagan Lake since 1945. The Kelowna Yacht Club understands that everyone is unique. That’s why we offer a variety of membership options to suit your specific needs.
