Yacht Source provides year-round charters with options to cruise the waterways, plan day trips to specific locations, and host private events such as bachelor parties, engagements, birthdays, corporate events, and any other special occasion where you want to have fun on the water in first class style.  Our fleet is made up of Blue Bonnet II, a 65’ Sea Ray Luxury Yacht, as well as Baby Bonnet, a 31’ Sea Ray SLX. Both are located at Sea Path Yacht Club in Wrightsville Beach, NC. We can host up to one charterer and 12 passengers for a total of 13 on either vessel, not including the First Mate and Captain. Wrightsville Beach   Sailing

Sailing in wrightsville beach, masonboro adventure sail.

Grab your captain's hat and help raise the sails aboard Zoe, a state-of-the-art 2019 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349. This 3.5 hour adventure sail will take you south, towards the Atlantic Ocean through Masonboro Inlet. After experiencing the thrill of sailing on the ocean, you'll anchor behind Masonboro Island, North Carolina’s largest undisturbed barrier island, for some exciting exploration.This private charter can accommodate up to six people and is suitable for all ages.

LEARN TO SAIL

Learn to sail aboard one of our 14’ Hobie Catamarans or get sailing certified by taking Soundside’s American Sailing Association (ASA) Courses.  The course is family-friendly and welcomes all ages over 13, with no previous boating experience required. Hands-on training includes open water sailing, docking, anchoring, etc. Upon graduation, you will receive ASA certification, and you will be ready to safely and confidently skipper boats of 20 ft. On completion of your certificate, you can rent the J/22 on your own to further develop your skills and confidence.

Cocktail Sail

Let the captain and crew do all the work while you relax aboard our newest member of the fleet, Bella. Enjoy a Caribbean-inspired cocktail while you cruise our local waterways and watch the sunset. Bella is a 44' Lagoon catamaran, fully equipped with air conditioning and generator, sound system, grill, and many comfortable spots to relax! Enjoy all the comforts of home while out on the water.

Half-Day Catamaran Sail

Set sail aboard Bella, our 44' catamaran! On this half-day (4hr) private charter, you will sail around the waterways of Wrightsville Beach and Atlantic Ocean. You'll work with your captain to plan your perfect itinerary of islands and local spots. Upon anchoring, the crew will dinghy you around wherever you'd like to go! This beautiful boat is our newest addition to the fleet and is fully equipped with air conditioning, generator, sound system, grill, and many comfortable spots to relax! Enjoy all the comforts of home while out on the water. Customize this cruise to your liking - enjoy a serene Masonboro Island, party at Palm Tree Island, swing on a rope swing along the ICW, or stop for drinks at Dockside's waterfront bar.

ALLANA SUNSET SAIL

Cast a line or sit back and relax with your favorite drink as you soak in some of the best sunset views in Wrightsville Beach. The captain and crew will make you feel at ease aboard our 40′ sailboat, Allana. The Allana sunset sail lasts 1.5 - 2 hours and is safe for all ages. There is a four person minimum and six person maximum. Private or mid-day charters are also available.

HOBIE WAVE RENTAL

The 14’ Hobie Wave is an excellent craft to learn the basics. With its stability and single sail, the Hobie Wave is ideal for the shallow waters of our sound. It's responsive yet forgiving–and very fast! Our certified instructors will show you the ropes. If you have sailing experience, our instructors will take you through a quick vetting process and you’ll be on your way.

F A Q's

You should bring any beverages & snacks that you might want. We provide cold water, and have a cooler with ice to keep your things cold. Please bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. (We do have extras if you forget yours). Children under 12 must wear a lifejacket, which we can provide. Please show up a half hour before your charter begins.

Please leave your glassware at home, we have plastic cups on the boat. Champagne/Wine bottles are okay, but beer bottles are not. Please bring cans. 

Ladies, no heels please. Gentlemen, no dress shoes. Flip flops or tennis shoes are great. 

The price includes the boat, with a licensed captain, and a first mate who is at your disposal. (First mate works for tips) for however much time you charter it for. There are no hidden fees, or additional charges, just gratuity. You can bring up to 6 guests.

All charters are weather contingent. A $100 deposit secures your reservation. If the weather is iffy the day of your charter the Captain will be in contact with you to make a decision. If we cancel due to weather, we will refund your deposit, or you can reschedule if you would like. We don't want to keep your money if you don't go sailing.
