I booked a 150’ yacht in The Bahamas. During my trip, we explored the Exumas. Each day was better than the day before! My favorite part of the trip was swimming with the nurse sharks at Compass Cay. The cost of your Miami yacht charter will very on the size of the boat, length of the trip, and other factors. If you are looking for a cheap yacht rental in Miami, our cheapest boat rental in Miami is our 29ft Sea Ray which costs $1,500 for 4 hours.

Most of our yachts depart from Miami Beach Marina in South Beach. We have other yachts that depart from different marinas in south beach. We also have some options that leave from downtown Miami.

Yes, you must bring the card that you used to pay for the yacht rental and you must bring a photo ID that matches the credit card used to book the yacht rental. The photo ID must also clearly match the individual presenting the ID and credit card.

Miami Blue Yacht Rental does not allow for cancellations under any circumstances within 30 days of the departure of your trip. Cancellations made between 90 days and 30 days of your trip’s departure are subject to a 50% refund of the total cost of your charter. Cancellations made prior to 90 days of your trip departure will receive a full refund.

The cancellation policy above applies only to day trips. Any overnight charters will follow a separate cancellation policy that will be outlined in the charter contract between Miami Blue Yacht Rental and the client.

Miami Blue Yacht Rental will cancel charters if there is inclement weather preventing us from conducting the trip. In the event of inclement weather, we will issue a credit that is valid for 3 years after the initial charter departure date. That credit can be used towards a future charter with Miami Blue Yacht Rental.

Miami Blue Yacht Rental reserves the right to determine whether or not the weather permits us from conducting the charter.

For almost all of our Miami yachts we can only take a maximum of 12 guests due to United States Coast Guard regulations. Even if the boat you rented is over 100ft, it can only take a maximum of 12 passengers. The only Miami charter yachts that can take more than 12 passengers are event or party yachts with special certifications.

To rent a yacht with Miami Blue, the individual making payment and signing the charter contract must be at least 18 years of age. Customers are required to submit full payment up front to reserve a yacht or boat. If the departure date is more than 90 days away, customers are allowed to rent a boat or yacht with a 50% deposit. The remaining balance will be charged 90 days before the trip departs.

On the day of the charter, the individual who made the payment and signed the contract is required to be on board the vessel. That individual must arrive at the vessel with the credit card they used to book the boat or yacht, and they must arrive with a photo ID that matches the name on the credit card used to book the charter.

Yes, you can bring whatever food, drinks, or alcohol you’d like. We just ask that you don’t bring red wine because it stains the boats. You can also arrange to have your charter catered. We will connect you with one of our preferred partners who will handle all of the catering. In most cases, you can have the catering delivered to the yacht prior to your trip. That way everything is setup and ready to go when you arrive.

Yes. You are free to switch to a different yacht or boat if you give us at least 48 hours’ notice and the alternative yacht or boat is available on the date requested. If there is an additional cost of the new yacht, you would simply need to pay the additional balance for the upgraded vessel.

Yes, you can have your yacht rental catered. We can connect you with local caterers who can deliver food to the boat prior to the charter. You are also free to arrange food with your own caterer and bring it with you on the charter.

Smoking rules vary depending on which Miami yacht you book. Most of our yachts allow for vaping and electronic cigarettes on any part of the yacht that is not enclosed. Some of our yachts allow for smoking but only in specific areas on the yacht. Usually somewhere off the back of the yacht so that the smoke and ash does not get on the yacht.

The number of bedrooms on your Miami yacht tour will depend on the type and size of the yacht you book. All of our Miami yacht charter listings have information on the number of beds and the number of staterooms for each yacht. If you have any questions about the number of bedrooms on your Miami Yacht rental, feel free to call our office at 954-299-5455.

What’s included on your Miami yacht tour will depend on which yacht you book. Each of our yacht your listings state the water toys and floats that are included. If you are looking to add additional water toys to your Miami yacht rental feel to call one of our agents and see what additional water toys we have available.

• Balloons are not allowed on board on of our yacht or boat rentals. Balloons can cause issues and make it difficult for the crew to navigate. Additionally, if the balloons pop and fall into the water they are terrible for the environment. • Self-tanning oils and bronzers are not allowed onboard. The cause stains on the yacht’s upholstery that are very difficult to remove. • Please avoid wearing denim or jean clothing as the dyes from these clothes can stain the upholstery when they get wet. • Please do not wear any temporary hair dye or wigs. The ink seeps out due to the moisture and the humidity and can cause bad stains. • Please avoid bringing wed wine or other similar drinks. If they spill they can cause stains that are extremely difficult to clean and remove. • No Hookah, shisha, or other items that have an open flame such as BBQ equipment, gas, propane, coals, etc. • We do not allow glitter or confetti on our yacht charters. • No pets are allowed on board our yachts. • Any damage that is caused to the yacht upholstery, flooring, or other surfaces caused by beverages, smoking, or dye from wet clothing will incur additional charges for the repair and damages to be fixed.

Our captains and crew know all of the best spots to go and all of the best sights to see out on the water. We ask our customers not to wear shoes on our yachts to help keep the yacht clean and to help maintain the condition of the yacht. If you wear shoes on your yacht rental in Miami, it can bring dirt onto the yacht or damage the deck of the boat. In order to have a clean boat for the duration of your Miami yacht charter, we ask our guests to remove their shoes.

In Miami, everyone wants a piece of the waterfront. Condos, restaurants and private homes all try to stake claim on the ever-disappearing property by bay (and sea). Luckily, in a water-centric city like Miami, marinas take up a good portion of this prime real estate .

With dockage available in every waterfront neighbourhood, you can decide what amenities you seek, how much privacy you desire and which part of Miami you’d like to be based to explore this exciting city .

1. One Island Park

The One Island Park compound opened in Miami Beach in November last year and is designed solely for superyachts and is able to accommodate yachts measuring up to 244 metres in its deep water berths.

Visitors to One Island Park will enjoy a vast range of VIP concierge services, as well as a high level of exclusivity. The new compound was designed to showcase both the area and the best standards of service, meaning it will become an extremely popular spot for private owners, while its location means that clients can enjoy the thriving art scene, the beaches and the nightlife of Miami.

Island Gardens

The new superyacht marina Island Gardens Deep Harbour is situated on Watson Island and is capable of berthing 50 superyachts measuring up to 167 metres. The retail and residential aspects of the marina are not expected to be completed for the next two years, but the marina is fully operational with 1,524 linear metres of capacity with drafts of 5.4-6.4 metres deep.

Coconut Grove

Home to the U.S. Sailing Center and multiple yacht clubs, Coconut Grove is a hotbed for yachting activity. The 582-slip Dinner Key Marina, which survived the worst of the hurricane damage in September, sits right in the centre, and only steps away from the shops and restaurants of “The Grove.” The protected marina hosts yachts up to 38 metres with two metres of draft.

Sea Isle Marina

The Sea Isle Marina and Yachting Centre is a great place for yachts up to 42 metres to tie-up and be in close distance to what downtown has to offer with the Adrienne Arsht Center for the performing arts and the arena where the Miami Heat play right around the corner. There are also great restaurants right on site, as well as fuel and a ship’s store.

Miamarina at Bayside

Surrounded by shops, dining and even an outdoor auditorium, the Miamarina at Bayside is a lively marina. The marina has 130 slips and hosts yachts up to 60 metres and offers easy access to both the Atlantic through Government Cut and to Biscayne Bay and the Florida Keys to the south.

Epic Marina

Epic Marina is surely one of the plushest in Miami and despite being hit hard during Hurricane Irma, is once again capable of hosting superyachts up to 95 metres. In the shadow of Miami’s luxe Epic Residences & Hotel, the marina isn’t short on high-end amenities. Guests can enjoy sumptuous meals at on site restaurants Area 31 and Zuma.

Sunset Harbour Yacht Club

Set off the Venetian Causeway on Biscayne Bay, Sunset Harbour Yacht Club offers ample dockage outside of the hubbub of the Miami Beach scene. Catering to yachts up to 45 metres with 125 deepwater slips, the designated “clean marina”, an initiative started by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, has some great amenities including a pool and fitness centre. Fuel can be delivered and it is loacated right around the corner from a large Publix supermarket for easy provisioning.

Indian Creek Marina

Across from Miami’s iconic and historic Fountainbleau Resort on Collins Avenue, Indian Creek Marina at the Fountainbleau Resort (home to one of the best hotel spas to visit in Miami ) can host yachts up to 76 metres. In February, this waterway is lined with yachts during the Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show. The rest of the year, it’s open to transiting yachts and makes a great destination marina that is in close distance to Miami’s finest spas and eateries, as it's located right across from the beach.

Miami Beach Marina

In the south end of Miami Beach, the full-service Miami Beach Marina has 400 slips for yachts up to 76 metres. The marina offers direct access to Government Cut, a manmade shipping channel between Miami Beach and Fisher Island, which allows better access to the Port of Miami. Likewise, it’s only moments to the best of what South Beach has to offer; the beach and the best restaurants, nightlife and spas are just steps away.

Private Marinas

Yachtsmen seeking a private marina experience while in Miami should look no further than these havens:

The exclusive private island community of Fisher Island Club, across from Miami Beach, is ‘members only’, but sponsorship (from a member or the dockmaster) allows temporary membership for yachts up to 76.2 metres in length to tie up in the marina. And their owners can enjoy all the perks of the club, including the beach club, spa, tennis centre, hotel, restaurants and PB Dye-designed golf course.

Midway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Aventura, Turnberry Isle Marina Yacht Club accommodates 117 yachts up to 45-metres. Amenities include 24-hour security, a private ocean club, pool, spa, several restaurants, and two 18-hole Raymond Floyd-designed championship golf courses.

If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

Diddy Offered His $48 Million Miami Mansion as Collateral for Bail in His Sex Trafficking Case—See Inside

Sean “Diddy” Combs offered up his $48 million Miami mansion as collateral in a failed $50 million bail plea after he was arrested on a series of heinous charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering .

The 54-year-old rapper was arrested in New York City on Monday morning, six months after Homeland Security agents raided his homes in Florida and Los Angeles as part of an investigation into his alleged illicit activities.

Diddy pleaded not guilty to charges during an appearance in a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday afternoon, hours after offering to post a $50 million bond to secure his release from prison.

His bail plea was rejected by the judge, who ordered that the rapper be taken to jail where he will await the start of his trial, agreeing with prosecutors that Diddy is too much of a risk to be allowed to go free, despite his lawyers offering up a very sizable bail proposal.

That package included his mansion on Miami’s exclusive Star Island, which is valued at $48 million in the bail plea. Diddy is using his mother’s Miami home to cover the other $2 million in the total bail offer.

Diddy also offered to limit his travel to Miami and New York City, and claimed that he would keep his private jet—which he says he is trying to sell—parked in Los Angeles, to limit flight risk.

Similarly, he offered to wear a GPS tracking monitor for the duration of his bail.

Legal documents filed by the rapper’s legal team reveal that he prepared for his arrest by paying off the $18 million that he still owed on the Miami property so that he would be free to use it as collateral in his bail plea.

“The home is unencumbered,” a legal document outlining the proposed bail package states. “In anticipation of this bail hearing, on August 20, 2024, Mr. Combs paid off the remaining mortgage of about $18,000,000 so that the home could be used to secure a bond and be free of a mortgage.”

Diddy’s Miami home is made up of two properties, which the rapper bought decades apart.

While the property is not understood to have ever been put on the market as a complete estate, it appears as if Diddy and his legal team calculated its estimated value based on the prices that he paid for each of the homes that it includes.

The first, a nine-bedroom, 12-bathroom mansion, was purchased by Diddy for $14.5 million in 2003. He picked up the second home, which is located next door to his original Miami mansion and has six bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms, for $35 million in 2021.

His second property was previously owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan and includes two buildings, which sit on a 1.34-acre lot.

It is thought that Diddy was planning to use his Miami home as his primary residence had he secured bail—having put his raided Beverly Hills home on the market for $61.5 million just one week before his arrest.

Had the rapper’s plea been granted by the judge, he would certainly have enjoyed much more luxury and privacy than he will be afforded behind bars.

The residence is located inside an exclusive guard-gated community and sits on a corner lot that faces the water. It offers incredible views of Biscayne Bay and the downtown Miami skyline.

The migrants arrived to Sombrero Beach in Marathon in a wooden fishing vessel, authorities said.

Their conditions and ages were not immediately available. The migrants were taken into custody.

"We appreciate the support from responding agencies," Chief Andrew Scharnweber said in a post on X.

Scharnweber shared a picture of the small boat, a vessel painted white and light blue with the word "Habana" in big lettering on the back.
