The Leopard 48 is a boat that employs the latest in catamaran thinking to deliver a platform that is as fun as it is comfortable. It is no surprise that the Leopard 48 was voted 2013 CRUISING WORLD BEST MULTIHULL.

The Leopard 48’s hulls are vacuum-bagged with a balsa core to maximize rigidity and minimize weight. The boat’s shallow keels are filled with closed-cell polyurethane foam to prevent water ingress and increase buoyancy, and the bow and stern both have sealed bulkheads to keep the water out in the event of a collision. All in all, this is a boat built with bluewater passagemaking in mind.

Another Leopard feature is the large transverse passageway aft, which allows you to cross from one hull to the other or hoist the dinghy back into the boat’s davits without bumping into any of your passengers. Her single-spreader Sparcraft fractional rig is both simple and effective.

The bridge deck also has a forward-facing nav station to port and a large table and settees, Robertson and Caine has created a layout that is spacious, comfortable and extremely well ventilated.

Designed by the architects Van Peteghem and Lauriot Prévost (VPLP) in association with the Lagoon R&D department, the Lagoon 620 is an innovative solution to the needs of today's cruising yachtsman : Strength, comfort, performance and large choice of layouts. The 2012 version of the Lagoon 620, with interiors designed by Nauta, makes her an even more luxurious and comfortable yacht.

In the dining room, the settees have been entirely redesigned, as well as the ceiling, enabling more effective indirect lighting, and it now includes the option of installing adjustable blinds on all the wide vertical windows.

On the starboard side, the master suite has also been substantially modified, with a washroom now placed aft on either side of the cockpit access stairs, making room for a large cupboard space in the bedroom. The forward starboard cabin, now a real V.I.P. suite, also benefits from this change due to the volume freed up by the repositioning of the master washroom.
