Mylor Yacht Harbour

Mylor Yacht Harbour has a modern and spacious marina which is protected from the prevailing South Westerly winds and offers a sheltered haven for yachts persons and those wishing to enjoy spending time on the water - with everything a boat owner could need in one place.

Originally the most westerly Naval Dockyard and victualling station in England, then home of HMS Ganges and the Packet ships and centre for the French Resistance during the Second World War, Mylor, now home to the last fleet of Oyster fishing boats under sail, is a haven for water-lovers of all types, whether you enjoy crabbing with the children off the pontoon, cruising local waters or racing further offshore.

Boasting some of the finest sheltered waters in the UK, the Carrick Roads offers a great base for sailing , boat charter and other water sports such as kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing and much more. There are many yacht racing events, both local and national, that take place throughout the season in the area.

The entire area is protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from the mouth which has St Anthony Lighthouse (aka Fraggle Rock) to one side and Pendennis Castle to the other, deep into the tree lined creeks to Truro. It is home to many wading birds, seals and otters, not to mention all the basking sharks and dolphins that come into the Roads to feed.

We offer a range of services, backed up by comprehensive shore-side facilities for the boat owner, from one of the most beautiful locations on the South Coast. Mylor Bridge Holiday Cottages

Our Mylor Bridge Holiday Cottages are in the ever-so friendly village of Mylor Bridge situated at the head of Mylor Creek. The village has a thriving community with good local facilities, including a well-stocked general store, butcher, fishmonger, newsagent, post office and a traditional village pub. You can follow the coastal path from Mylor to the 13th century Pandora Inn at Restronguet . Mylor Yacht Harbour is just a short distance downstream from the village. It has an excellent seafood restaurant and cafe, plus excellent boating facilities including pontoon berths, swinging moorings with access to the Carrick roads, and a good watersports centre along with a sailing school, boat, paddleboard, and canoe hire.

Mylor Bridge

Brabyns offers an idyllic waterfront setting providing the perfect retreat for water sports enthusiasts for families and friends to enjoy in all seasons. Situated overlooking Mylor Creek, this peaceful detached cottage is only a short distance from the village of Mylor Bridge, which has a selection of good shops and a pub.

Bridge Cottage

Bridge Cottage stands at the head of Mylor Creek in the heart of the picturesque, peaceful village of Mylor Bridge; it offers beautiful views of the creek over the village playing fields. This friendly village has a superb selection of shops, a perfect location for any holiday.

Carsawsan is an amazing two-bedroom barn conversion situated in a peaceful rural location, offering an ideal holiday retreat, whilst only just a mile from the village of Mylor Bridge. A private drive leads through the 200-acre woodland. Footpaths meander down to Restronguet Creek, through mature woodland abundant with birds and wildlife.

Situated in the idyllic creekside village of Mylor Bridge, Chenies is a comfortable & spacious two-bedroom bungalow just a short stroll down to Mylor Creek. Ideal for family, friends and couples, this retreat makes a great base for an all-season break.

Chylorden is situated on the south side of Mylor Creek, this semi-detached two-bedroom cottage occupies a genuinely excellent position offering panoramic views over the creek. Mylor Yacht Harbour is at the entrance to the creek; this cottage is ideally located for a peaceful holiday.
