An operation appointment at a Leeds hospital meant that I went cap in hand to the office and asked to stay a bit longer so my family could have a base and security to look after my dog and boat while I was away and from there the story unfolded. Andy and Malcolm from the brokerage not only shared all their expert knowledge and information when selling the boat but moved heaven and earth to allow me to stay a few extra weeks. The ladies in the office were amazingly efficient at juggling the moorings around. The site is exceptionally well kept and there is a wonderful real sense of community. The showers and laundry facilities are clean and tidy but it doesn’t stop there. The team have contacts for a brilliant boat mechanic who not only serviced the engine but also piloted my boat into the different moorings when needed. Lovely welcome by the ladies behind the desk. Introduced to Mal, again, a welcoming and friendly approach, making the whole process seemless. I do have to make a special note here, the photos taken, are what you see, in reality. Unlike a lot of websites. This immediately puts you at ease, as you get the feeling, your not being hoodwinked. Small wonder, that at one point, when I visited the Swanley website, all boats were either sold or deposit taken. They do not have on sale anything that they don’t believe would sell. ‘What a Brokerage should do’…..they did in spades. Between Mal and Andy, they kept me informed via phone calls, email, and visits to the marina. Transition between deposit and purchase could not have gone any better. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Swanley Bridge Marina.
