In 1966, starting with 247 members, the Hat Island Yacht and Golf Club formed as a social and recreational club.Today our membership is still going strong! The Yacht and Golf Club sponsors many of the Island’s best events including golf tournaments, cruises, dinners, dances and informal gatherings throughout the year. We welcome new members and encourage you to immerse yourself in all the fun happenings and good friendships to be found here.

Hat Island Community offers a recently renovated and expanded marina capable of mooring over 120 vessels of varying sizes. Some of the slips offer water and power from 20 amp up to 50 amp. Moorage rates, rules and regulations can be found in the link below. There is a restroom facility with showers, a covered picnic area, and rustic camping walking distance from the docks. Reciprocal yacht clubs may use the facility.

The Yacht Club is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. Membership is open to all Hat Island property owners. Our volunteers are the heart of the Club. You don’t even need to have a boat to join! Membership Application
These cruises are typically around the Puget Sound waters and San Juan Islands. Hat Island Community offers a recently renovated and expanded marina capable of mooring over 120 vessels of varying sizes. Some of the slips offer water and power from 20 amp up to 50 amp.
We want to welcome you and help make your move to Hat Island as easy as unrolling a beach towel. In this Welcome Kit we’ve gathered all the information we think you’ll find useful — including our important governing documents, contact information, a listing of services and features, as well as maps to help you navigate your new island home.
The clubhouse has a full kitchen and bar as well as room for dining and/or dancing on the main floor. Upstairs is the Harbor Lights Room, bathrooms with showers and a rental loft with two full size beds. We are making continuous improvements to our facility. Including new interior paint, new decks and a remodeled bar.
