Rapper Lil Yachty Releases New Frozen Pizza Line

The Hot Honey Cheese pizza is calling our name.

Available exclusively at Walmart locations across the country, Yachty's Pizzeria includes four unique flavors: Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon, and Veggie Supreme.

Not your average buffalo chicken pizza, the Buffalo Style Chicken comes topped with crispy French-fried onions and is made using a signature buffalo ranch sauce. And for those who live for a satisfying sweet and savory combo, Hot Honey Cheese is sure to tantalize tastebuds thanks in part to a spicy tomato sauce that's sweetened with real honey.

While addressing his new frozen pizza line, Lil Yachty spoke on his dedication to the slice and expressed his excitement about the new brand

"I've loved making and eating pizza my whole life, so this is a project I'm really excited about and have been for a long time. We made some wild flavors but there's still something for everybody. I take my pizza seriously so I'm looking forward to seeing what people think," said Lil Yachty in a statement.

Yachty's Pizzeria serves as the first release from Deep Cuts, a U.S.-based brand that will offer a line of premium frozen pizzas created by Universal Music Group for Brands. The goal of Deep Cuts is to "create products that are an extension of a musician's artistry and business portfolio."

Lil Yachty Launches "Yachty’s Pizzeria" Frozen Pizza Line

Coming in “buffalo style chicken,” “hot honey cheese,” “pepperoni & bacon,” and “veggie supreme” options..

Sharing his love for pizza, Lil Yachty recently launched his latest venture, “Yachty’s Pizzeria.” His first-ever line of frozen pizza serves as the first offering from Deep Cuts, a Universal Music Group for Brands name for premium frozen pizzas. The partnership division of Universal Music Group worked with Richelieu Foods to create a brand around products that extend musicians’ artistry and business portfolio.

Yachty’s Pizzaria features four flavor options created with the rapper’s favorite cheeses, toppings and bold seasonings. “Buffalo Style Chicken” features Yachty’s own buffalo ranch sauce and mozzarella cheese topped with spicy chopped buffalo chicken breast and crispy French-fried onions. Sweetened with real honey, “Hot Honey Cheese” offers a mix of mozzarella, provolone, Monterey jack, asiago, romano and parmesan on top of tomato sauce. While “Pepperoni & Bacon” and “Veggie Supreme” serve as Yachty’s take on classic pizza variations with premium ingredients.

It makes me feel so old when I have to look up who someone is. But if you’re like me and didn’t know who he was, I’ll let you know that Lil Yachty is a rapper. And for those of us who already knew who he was: we are shocked the pizza toppings included vegetables instead of Girl Scout Cookies, candy and whatever else an unsupervised 4 year old would use. His diet is horrible.

I seen tik toks of people trying the pizza and everyone says it’s good. That’s the biggest shock for me.

Pizza dough comes out soft, never crispy and pepperoni topping come out extra greasy….so if you enjoy your pizza soft n greasy than by all means have at it lol

No idea who he is but we thought the pizzas looked good. So, we bought all 4. Just ate the Hot Honey Cheese and it was great.

That’s what I thought. Then I wondered if this “Yachty” guy was a character from it or something. Maybe these pizzas are produced by the same company.

They look similar, but they’re different Yachty’s is made by Richelieu Foods, which makes pizzas for a lot of store brands. The Stranger Things pizza is made by Palermo’s

most of the topping varieties aren’t of interest to me, but the cheddar cheese seasoned crust made my eyes light up. i’d be into getting the vegetable one (hot cheddar cheese? yum.) and adding sausage or chicken to it. (i looove chicken on pizza, but dislike bbq versions and detest anything buffalo-ish.)

Glad that there are others who exist that abhor buffalo flavour.

i actually didn’t think i liked chicken wings for 25+ years cause they were always buffalo sauced. the last 10-15 years have proven that i loooove crispy fried or baked versions of many varieties. plain or garlicky are my go-to. Little Star Pizza in SF has the most amazing dry rub, spicy, baked meaty wings. haven’t had em since 2016 and i still think about them ~monthly. sigh.

Hehe. I just don’t care for the taste at all, blech! 🙂 Smoked wings or tossed in some sorta of garlic parm or teriyaki if I ever have them…which is a once in a blue moon craving for me. And I bet that next you’re going to say that the drums are superior to the flats. 😉 It’s ok, I still like and accept you!

I hate buffalo wings or any legitimate buffalo sauce, but oddly I LOVE Blazin’ Buffalo & Ranch Doritos.

I had the yatchy jalapeno hot honey pizza and it was trash,the first pizza I couldn’t eat. The cheddar crust isn’t real lol and it tastes like normal crust

Interesting. Seems like Wal-mart has some sort of branding plan to just rebrand their own brand of frozen pizzas throughout the year because I’m 99% sure these are just the Stranger Things-themed pizzas they had recently in a different box.

Buffalo Style Chicken: Layered with Yachty’s own buffalo ranch sauce and covered in mozzarella cheese, this pizza is topped with spicy chopped buffalo chicken breast and crispy French-fried onions.

Hot Honey Cheese: Topped with a deep bubbly blend of Mozzarella, Provolone, Monterey Jack, Asiago, Romano, and Parmesan on top of a hot tomato sauce that’s sweetened with real honey.

Who is Lil Yachty? Kai Cenat and rapper's hilarious 'pizza review' during livestream goes viral, fans say 'that’s like a 1-day old pizza'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Miles Parks McCollum, popularly known as Lil Yachty, was born on August 23, 1997. He is a versatile American artist, recognized for his roles as a rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. His breakout single 'One Night' in 2015 brought him widespread internet acclaim. Notably, Lil Yachty has released five studio albums, with his latest work in 2023 titled 'Let's Start Here'.

In a recent livestream at the AMP house, Kai Cenat invited Lil Yachty to join him for a livestream where they were both involved in a pizza session.

As soon as the pizza arrived, they couldn't contain their laughter upon opening it. Playfully teasing and sharing laughs, they created a moment that resonated across the internet, leaving viewers in stitches.

In a recent livestream, Kai Cenat and Lil Yachty engaged in a conversation about their careers. At one point, Cenat decided to order some pizza for them to enjoy and review.

Upon receiving the pizza, both recognized it was from Papa John's. They both claimed together,  “Papa John's I see.” Yachty, while holding a slice, burst into uncontrollable laughter. Meanwhile, Cenat couldn't contain himself, jumping in front of the monitor, exclaiming, "It's Papa John's!"

Amidst the laughter, Yatchy commented, "I don't know what side of town we're on, but my Papa John's doesn't look like this." Holding up a slice, he playfully questioned, "Who? Papa John's looks like this?"

Cenat, displaying the pizza box to the viewers, remarked, "This is terrible, I'm not going to lie, Chat. This is your boy who doesn't just do cookies." Yachty added, "It's not even fair." The hilarious moment left the internet in stitches. The video garnered over 39,000 likes and numerous comments.

Lil Yachty has entered your local Wal-Mart, but not to sell albums or sign autographs. The 25-year-old rapper has announced Yachty’s Pizzeria, a new brand of frozen pies available only at the aforementioned retailer.

Yachty’s Pizzeria is the first offering from Deep Cuts, the U.S. brand for a line of premium frozen pizzas created by Universal Music Group for Brands and manufactured by Richelieu Food.

“Yachty’s Pizzeria is an exciting example of a strategic brand extension that both represents the artist’s interest, passion, and personality as well as a way to help him expand his business portfolio,” explained Richard Yaffa, EVP, Global Brands, UMG.

“It’s a thrill to be able to continue to find new ways for our artists to connect with their fans around the world and support these campaigns with best-in-class marketing and creative support.” 

Led by the taste buds of Lil Yachty, the pizzas , which officially became available for purchase on Tuesday (Sept. 6), come in four topping options and are described as follows:

• Buffalo Style Chicken : Layered with Yachty’s own buffalo ranch sauce and covered in mozzarella cheese, this pizza is topped with spicy chopped buffalo chicken breast and crispy French-fried onions.
• Hot Honey Cheese : Topped with a deep bubbly blend of Mozzarella, Provolone, Monterey Jack, Asiago, Romano, and Parmesan on top of a hot tomato sauce that’s sweetened with real honey.

Lil Yachty’s love for pizza just landed him the ultimate partnership with Walmart. The Grammy-nominated rapper has joined forces with Deep Cuts and Richelieu Foods to launch his very own premium frozen pizza brand called Yachty’s Pizzeria.

The frozen pizzas made their exclusive debut into Walmart stores on Tuesday (Sept. 6), and include four flavors – Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon, and Veggie Supreme. Each of the products come equipped with a cheddar cheese seasoned crust and will run consumers just under $7. They are also Yachty approved thanks to a taste test conducted by the “Speed Me Up” emcee and his friends.

“I’ve been pushing to make [pizza] a part of my brand since the beginning of my career,” said Yachty in an interview with People. “I recently got some new management that was able to really push and make it happen. It couldn’t have happened at a better time.”

The 25-year-old further explained that the cheesy cuisine holds a special place in his heart thanks to his mother. “The thing behind my love for pizza was, quite frankly, my mom worked two jobs. She was a very busy woman,” Yachty explained. “She’d be pretty tired when she came home, and she just always brought home a pizza. We went and picked up a pizza, or we baked a pizza. It became pretty standard in our life, and I loved it.”

For the “Broccoli” lyricist , Yachty Pizzeria is only the beginning. “I’ve done a lot of things, but I always get really geeked up when I see something of me in a grocery store,” Yachty expressed. “It’s happened over the years so many times, from deodorant and body spray to a cereal box… I’m more excited to venture out and do other types of things. Maybe pizza bagels and pizza rolls, and then pizza sticks, or just a different kind of crust, and type of s**t like that.”

The Grammy-nominated rapper has launched Yachty’s Pizzeria, his own frozen pizza line, according to a press release shared with AfroTech. Lil Yachty’s first-ever frozen pizza line is exclusively sold in Walmart stores nationwide.

Collaborating With UMG

Serving as an extension of his brand as both an artist and entrepreneur, the launch is under  Deep Cuts, the U.S. brand for a line of premium frozen pizzas created by Universal Music Group for Brands (UMGB), the brands’ partnership division of Universal Music Group (UMG), according to the press release. UMGB’s mission is to support the elevation of culturally relevant artists and brands.

The Manufacturer

For Yachty’s Pizzeria’s manufacturing, it is led by  Richelieu Foods, which is described as “a private label company widely known in the food and supermarket industry for its superior array of brand products in the business segments of frozen and deli pizza; and dressings and sauces.”

“Yachty’s Pizzeria is an exciting example of a strategic brand extension that both represents the artist’s interest, passion and personality as well as a way to help him expand his business portfolio,” said Richard Yaffa, EVP, Global Brands, UMG. “It’s a thrill to be able to continue to find new ways for our artists to connect with their fans around the world and support these campaigns with best-in-class marketing and creative support.”  

The Frozen Pizza Line Flavors

As aforementioned by Lil Yachty, a few of his offered creations are outside of the norm but he welcomes everyone to dig in. The pizzas feature Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon, and Veggie Supreme.

Each box is priced at $6.98.

Now exclusively available at Walmart stores everywhere, Yachty's Pizzeria retails at an amount of $6.98.

Despite the popularity of his platinum-selling single Broccoli, Yachty made it clear that he's not offering any broccoli-based flavors or options for his frozen pizza.

"I hate the smell of broccoli. Steamed broccoli smells so disgusting," he said.

"I don't eat vegetables, bro. I wouldn't have made a veggie pizza, but it's not all about me.

"Broccoli was always about marijuana more than vegetables, even though I don't smoke or eat it."

He went on to say: "First and foremost, I'm just super excited.

"I've done a lot of things, but I always get really geeked up when I see something of me in a grocery store.

"I'm super excited for that, and more than a flavor, I'm more excited to venture out and do other types of things. 

"Maybe pizza bagels and pizza rolls, and then pizza sticks, or just a different kind of crust, and type of s**t like that."

Keep an Eye Out for Lil Yachty in the Frozen Pizza Aisle

Ever wanted a pizza the size of a yacht? How about a little yacht? Well, you still can’t get either of those things (at least not easily), but what you  can  get is Lil Yachty Pizza at Walmart. Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Yachty launched his own frozen pizza brand called Yachty’s Pizzeria, and they just released their pizzas, in four dank-looking flavors, at Walmart.

Why did Lil Yachty feel the need to make pizza in the first place?

To answer that question with more questions, why not? Who says a great rapper can’t make a great pizza? Troy from High School Musical can sing and play basketball , which means  anyone  can do  anything (if I’m understanding the message of High School Musical correctly)! Lil Yachty has apparently been a big fan of making and eating pizza his whole life, and told Delish that he is “extremely excited” about this project. “We made some wild flavors but there’s still something for everybody,” he added. “I take my pizza seriously so I’m looking forward to seeing what people think.” This dude seems to really have a thing for pizza! And who could blame him? Pizza is great! 

So…what are the dank-looking flavors of Lil Yachty Pizza?

Well, those flavors are: Buffalo Style Chicken, Hot Honey Cheese, Pepperoni & Bacon, and Veggie Supreme. But these aren’t just regular ol’ pizzas. The Buffalo Style Chicken comes with french fried onions and a buffalo ranch sauce. The hot honey cheese flavor has a spicy tomato sauce with hot honey for sweetness. Seems like Lil Yachty put a lot of thought-y into this pizza line.

More exciting news: Lil Yachty’s pizza line is being produced by Deep Cuts, a pizza company that plans to offer “a line of premium frozen pizzas created by Universal Music Group for Brands.” This means Lil Yachty’s pizza may be the first in a series of fancy frozen pizzas released by music artists. I don’t know about you, but I really want the next one to be a Butter pizza from BTS. Oooh or a Passionfruit pizza by Drake. Oooooh OR a Pie by the Ocean pizza from DNCE (spoiler alert: it’s seafood themed). Okay, I’ll stop.

I understand this article is done somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but let’s put this thing in perspective. Here’s the reality. Most people DO NOT even know who Lil Yachty is, nor have any reason to want a pizza created by him, and the fact that the pizzas are being made by Universal Music Group is much less impressive than if they were made by something called Universal FOOD Group.
