Couldn't have asked for a better location, not just for my brother's recent wedding at the adjacent Bon Appetite Restaurant, but it's a great choice if you're wanting to be centrally located in Dunedin. Walking distance to just about EVERYTHING, beautiful views all around, comfortable/quiet rooms, plenty of parking, good breakfast, and front desk service with a smile. I had an issue with my door when I first arrived, but it was taken care of quickly by Roy at the front desk (super helpful) and Maria. It's a bit pricey, but you're paying for convenience and location. I'd stay there again, if I return to the area. Give them a try if you're in the area... Great spot!!

This Best Western in Dunedin Florida has to be the Grand Daddy of all hotels in the Tampa area. Duniden is one of the coolest towns ever and staying here fits the bill perfectly. Very well kept and full of amenities your room has a balcony overlooking the water it's just beautiful at night. The staff OMG top notch especially the lovely woman at the front desk Marissa who made my first day in Duniden Florida much more special. Marissa went all out to help me when I first checked in and went the extra mile in doing so. The next morning there was Marissa and Paula who joined the front desk and Paula gave me great insight to a few queries that I had Extremely knowledgeable. 100 star ratings for the Best Western in Dunedin Florida.

We had stayed here a bunch of times in the past with good experiences. But this time, I booked a room through a 3rd-party service, Agoda, and when I arrived, the receptionist said they had no record of the reservation and they were full. I called Agoda, and they gave me the reservation number. When I shared that number with the receptionist, who was as helpful as I could be under the circumstances, she looked it up and found that the reservation had been canceled 4 days after it was made. There was no indication of who canceled it, but it wasn't me, and there is no reason that Agoda would have canceled it. So it seems that Best Western canceled it either accidentally, or in order to make room for a larger block of reservations. Disappointing. The receptionist was helpful, and found me room at a sister hotel 3 miles away.

We paid $500 for one night at the Best Western Plus Yacht Harbor Inn in Dunedin, FL on 3/18/2023. This is an older hotel that you can tell is not kept up. The walls are paper thin. They apparently allow customers to "tailgate" out in the parking lot throughout the night and don't do anything in regards to the noise. But the most important part of this is we came to find the room was infested with mold. Mold could be found on the ceiling, door frames and bathroom. You can tell that they tried to paint over it, but to no avail. We ran from the hotel early the following morning and upon checkout we informed the person at the front desk about the noise and mold issues. They acknowledged the noise problem from the night before and confirmed that they didn't do anything about it. When confronted about the mold issue, their response was that housekeeping was supposed to wipe it away. So, they confirmed that they knew about the mold problem but don't do anything about it but try to hide it. We called customer service at their corporate office and they said they would check in to it. After 2 weeks they came back and said there was nothing they could do since the local hotel refused a refund as we requested. The local office claimed they refunded $65 for the "inconvenience", but the amount refunded was taxes they overcharged us. All in all, this was probably the WORST hotel we have ever stayed at. $500 for a noisy room with absolutely no soundproofing, management that doesn't care about their customer's stay and most importantly, unhealthy MOLD in the rooms. As stated, we requested a refund for this stay and were denied. I have uploaded photos of this room and tried to upload a video, but the video size was too large. A report was issued with the county health department regarding the hotel since they did not want to take any action. We'll see what happens there.

I just got back. I would go somewhere else. Room 123 was dank and musky with bugs flying around. The sounds and endless parties from the second floor lead right into the rooms. The management won't do anything about it. The parking lot is directly in front of the doors to each room on the first and second floors. People drinking in the lot and hanging out by their cars. The Rooms don't have curtains over the windows to block the light and the plastic blinds don't shut all the way to black the parking lot lights from shining into your room. Even at 3AM the rooms are not dark for sleeping. Beds and bedding seem old and tired. I think they try hard with the crap they offer....but do yourself a favor and stay at the Holiday Inn or find a bed and breakfast. I was charged over $350 per night at this hotel. It should be about $9 a night. They have great views but you can't enjoy the views if you're exhausted. Avoid this location. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Wife and daughter booked through hotels.com and paid in full several weeks before trip. The lady at the front desk could see and verify the reservation but said it was not "transferring" over to their website and if they wanted to even enter a room they had to pay again for a different room until it was transferred. She was extremely rude and made my poor girls sit there and wait in the lobby for over an hour instead of letting them in and figuring it out. No help offered. They had to leave. How dare you get aggressive in front of a young child. Shame on you. Hotels.com gave us a full refund and voucher for the awful experience. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

If you request an upstairs room and delay your arrival a day to avoid having to move rooms during your week long stay, your favorite boutique hotel in Dunedin and as a BWRewards member looking forward to a fourth night free, AND They say you have to move your third night to a new room, YOU GET THE WEEK for Free! This is a very tired BW In need of updating. For example the shutters in my room won't stay open. The bed isn't comfortable. The calking around the tub was sloppy. No maid service (because of CB19...haha). The free breakfast was disappointing. The pre-scrambled eggs were cold. Oh and the rate. Saturday night was $404.00 plus tax! I have rated this comparing to other $400 a night hotels. And it's hard to compare. Keep driving.

This hotel (really more like a motel) is in a great location for hitting the bars and restaurants in Dunedin and right at the marina too. Close to the very nice Pinellas bike trail. The front desk staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent for this type of place. OK, that is the good part about this hotel. You can tell that they have tried to fix up this older property but it is like putting lipstick on a pig. It still comes across as shabby and rundown. Yes there is a refrigerator and microwave but the bathroom is old, cramped and dingy. The room is a bit better but overall you don't want to spend a lot of time in the room. Again I would stay here again just because the location is so good.

Pricey. Kind of old and dingy. Pool was nice but only 2 umbrellas for entire area. Beds were very comfortable. I would rather stay directly ON the beach for the price we paid to stay here.
