Blind Date’s spacious and comfortable interior layout sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 rooms, including a master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew members onboard to ensure you and your guests get the most out of your charter vacation, and enjoy the most luxurious, memorable charter vacation, utilizing all of this yacht’s available facilities and amenities.

The award winning 46.9m/153'10" motor yacht 'Blind Date' was built by Heesen in the Netherlands at their Oss shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Keech Green and she was completed in 2009. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Heesen.

Guest Accommodation

Blind Date has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Blind Date is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V 4000 M70) 8-cylinder 1,566hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 3,455 nautical miles from her 60,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 20,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.

A General Description of Motor Yacht BLIND DATE

This motor yacht BLIND DATE is a superyacht of large proportions. This 41 m (134 foot) luxury yacht was the work of at Lurssen Yachts in 1995. BLIND DATE is ex the project or yacht name Abbracci; Xania; Xenia. Superyacht BLIND DATE is a well designed yacht that can sleep as many as 8 guests on board and has approximately 6 professional crew. The firm of naval architecture who actualised her drawings for this ship is Jorg Biederbeck. Birgit Schnaase / Patrick Knowles was the interior designer who completed the overall interior design.

The Construction & Designing for Luxury Yacht BLIND DATE

The yacht's general design work came from Jorg Biederbeck. The technical naval architect intellectual property are a work of Jorg Biederbeck. Motor Yacht BLIND DATE received her elegant interior designing from the interior design office of Birgit Schnaase / Patrick Knowles. Germany is the country that Lurssen Yachts constructed their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1995 in Bremen the boat was afterwards delivered on to the proud new owner after final finishing. Her main hull was constructed with aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated largely using aluminium. With a beam of 8 m or 26.2 ft BLIND DATE has fairly large internal space. A reasonably shallow draught of 2.5m (8.2ft) selects the number of worldwide ports she can berth in, depending on their specific depth at low tide. She had refit maintenance and alteration work carried out in 2005.

M/Y BLIND DATE Engines & Speeds:

The vessel is powered by twin robust MTU diesel engine(s) and can accelerate to a thrilling top continuous speed at 24 knots. The engine of the ship gives 3480 horse power (or 2561 kilowatts). Her total HP is 6960 HP and her total Kilowatts are 5121. Connected to her MTU engine(s) are twin screw propellers. For stabalisers she uses Koopnautic. With respect to thrusters she was built with Hc. Her dynamic cruising speed is 16 knots which gives a range of 1200.

Apportioning room for a maximum of 8 welcome guests staying on board, the BLIND DATE accommodates everyone in style. She also utilises approximately 6 capable crew to operate.

In October 2009 BLIND DATE cruised Antibes, in France. BLIND DATE has navigated the waters including Département des Alpes-Maritimes during the month of Sept 2009. Heinen & Hopman is the model of air-con in this boat. Her deck material is predominantly a teak deck.
