Our USCG inspected and insured vessel is certified for up to 38 passengers, and our experienced and licensed crew will make this a memorable experience. Private cruises are ideal for larger groups.

Our daily cruises include:

Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure - Great for all ages! With the plethora of wildlife beaming in this area, you don't want to leave St. Augustine without experiencing a tour like this! Bar on board available for those 21 and older!

Sunset Cruise- This cruise is for those 21 and over, looking for a more romantic evening. This tour is also guided, as we view the historic landscapes with the sun setting behind the downtown area. Bar on board.

Wine Tasting Cruise - This tour is also 21 and over and guided. Included in this tour is 6 samples of red and white wine. This is the only cruise of it's kind in St. Augustine, and definitely one you do not want to miss!

Full Moon Cruise - This is our evening cruise that takes place surrounding the full moon each month. Although at night, St. Augustine is still a beautiful city to see when lit up by the full moon and stars!

Moonlit Mysteries: Florida Water Tours

Florida Water Tours offers special dark-of-the-night tours during the fall, featuring spooky tales, star-gazing, and a description of ancient navigation. These special tours are offered on Thursdays through Saturdays, from September 12 through November 22, 2024. The times will vary as the sun sets earlier each day.

This cruise is designed with historic and spooky tales for adults and teens, so they can learn more about the night sky, and ancient navigation on the high seas. The narration touches on celestial events, from phases of the moon and planet alignment to rocket launches, and will also feature haunted tales from St. Augustine. Tickets include one beverage from the bar. The night sky off St. Augustine is always impressive, but cloud cover may prevent star-gazing, and a clear sky is not guaranteed.

Members of the Ancient City Astronomy Club will be present on several of the trips.

Admission: $29.00 for adults and youth older than 13. This cruise is open to all 13 and older.

When: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from Thursday, September 12 - Friday, November 22

• Guests must arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
• There is free parking at the marina. (The parking lot fills up quickly on holidays and weekends, so guests are encouraged to carpool or arrive early.)

Our office is next to Odd Birds Cafe and our boats are on the dock of the restaurant Kingfish Grill.

ISLAND BREEZE is located on DOCK A-23.

If you are looking at our office, head right!

We ask that you please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for boarding. We leave on time!

• Chevron down Where do we park?
• As you pull into Camachee Cove, take the very first right immediately after the entrance and park anywhere. The vessel is located on the dock of Kingfish Grill.
• Stop in to our Florida Water Tours shop before or after your cruise!

Please note that we may not be able to answer the phone on the day of your trip, so if you are unfamiliar with the area, please arrive early so you have enough time to find our location.

• Chevron down What is your cancellation policy?

– Cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled tour in order to receive a full refund. – No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled cruise, or no-show’s. – A rescheduling fee of 50% of your payment will be charged if rescheduling within 48 hours of your cruise.

– Your trip is 100% refundable if cancelled by us due to unfavorable or unsafe weather conditions. – We will contact you as soon as the captain knows. – We make every effort to contact you a reasonable amount of time before the tour (we will call, email, and text you) but sometimes we do not cancel until the last minute due to unpredictable weather here in Florida. If we do not contact you, please head to the tour as normal. – Our Master Captains are professionals and safety is our number 1 concern. – You can reschedule your trip for a later date with no expiration or receive a full refund. Your cancellation email will have instructions on how to re-book your trip or request a refund.

Please note: We have a minimum requirement of 12 passengers for every tour. If in the rare occasion we do not meet our minimum, we will contact you at least 2 hours before your tour. You are then entitled to a full refund, or you can reschedule with no expiration.

– Reschedule at least 48 hours prior to your cruise to avoid fees. – A rescheduling fee of 50% of your payment will be charged if rescheduling within 48 hours of your cruise.

*Refunds will not be given for cancellation requests after rescheduling within 48 hours of your original tour date.

If you scheduled a Private Cruise with us:

If you need to cancel your trip, please give at least 4 days notice in order to receive a full refund. All no show’s or cancellations within the 4 days of your cruise are responsible for full payment. If you need to Reschedule your trip, please give at lest 4 days notice. Any reschedules within the 4 days of your cruise will receive a re-booking fee in the amount of 25% of your base price. Please email FWT staff at [email protected] to cancel or reschedule.

• Chevron down I have a big group, what should I do?
• If you have more than 8 guests in your party, please call to book. We have group discounts! However, we may include an auto gratuity depending on your group size.
• If you have more than 14 people in your party, you must book a private tour in advance by calling 904-827-7728 or emailing [email protected].
• Chevron down What booking information do I need to know?
• You must purchase tickets to reserve your seat on the boat. Everyone in your party must have a ticket for the tour, including infants (there are separate children prices for ages 0-5). This is because according to the Coast Guard, every soul on board counts as a seat against our capacity, no matter the age.
• If you fail to purchase tickets for everyone in your party (including infants), there is a possibility the tour will be sold out when you arrive and we will not be able to accommodate your entire party. You will not be refunded.
• We close off online booking an hour before the tour start time.
• Please make sure all of your contact information is correct during checkout in case we need to contact you. Double check that your phone number and email address are correct. Please make sure that the date and time you are booking are correct! Check your inbox for the confirmation email — this will act as your boarding pass. Please contact us if you fail to receive it in the next 30 minutes.
• Chevron down I am physically challenged; can I still come?

The boat is not handicap accessible. However, if you use a wheelchair but can walk onto the boat (two steps up), we have no problem taking your wheelchair with us. There’s a ramp that leads down to the dock, so you would be able to wheel right up to the boat. We have very comfortable seats! It is important to us that everyone be able to enjoy our cruises, no matter what. Your captain and mate are happy to do whatever it takes to make this experience wonderful for you! If you have more questions or would like other  recommendations, please give us a call!

• Chevron down Is the boat shaded?

Yes, shade is a must when enjoying Florida waters!

• Chevron down What should we bring?
• For our daytime cruises, you may bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat/visor, re-usable bottled water, chap stick, and snacks.
• For our cooler evening cruises, depending on the time of year, you might want to have a lightweight jacket or sweater.
• For the Nights of Lights cruises, we recommend bundling up.
• We have water and soft drinks for sale on board the Osprey, the Island Breeze is all bring your own. We recommend you bring your own refillable (not plastic) water bottle to cut down on waste!
• If you booked the Osprey: Alcoholic beverages are sold on board for those 21 and older, including local favorites!
• If you booked the Island Breeze: You are welcome to BYOB. We sell alcoholic beverages in our marina shop that you are able to bring on board.
• All required Coast Guard-inspected life preserves are on board.
• Chevron down Can I bring my kids?

For our family-oriented daytime Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure, we allow all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult)! For the adults-only cruises, all guests must be at least 21 years of age and have valid photo ID. Please read the descriptions of any other cruises for age suggestions.

• Chevron down Can I rent the boat for a private event?

Absolutely! The Osprey, Island Breeze and Salty Dreams are available for private use, with a tailored trip designed just for you. You can have it catered, and play your own music. Employ the services of our events coordinator to arrange your private party, for whatever it may be. We can handle groups up to 38, but you can charter for just the two of you! If you would like to talk about the possibilities and pricing, email the following information to [email protected], and we will contact you within 24 hours.

• Chevron down Can we swim with or feed the dolphins?

No, you will remain on board for the entire cruise.

We absolutely can’t feed the dolphins. Aside from the fact that feeding wild dolphins is illegal, it is not in their best interest for us to do so. They can lose their natural wariness of humans and become habituated to receiving handouts, which increases their risk of injury from boats and entanglement in fishing gear. It can also decrease their willingness to forage for food on their own.

• Chevron down Do you allow pets?

We do not allow pets on board the vessel and we apologize for that inconvenience! We are all animal lovers and know it can be hard to leave our furry friends behind.

Service animals are always welcome. Please call ahead to let us know as it affects our capacity limit on board.

• Chevron down Is there a bathroom on board?

Yes, we have a fully functional toilet on all vessels! There are also public restrooms around the marina.

• Chevron down Do you see dolphins and other wildlife on tours other than the Dolphin Tour?

Yes! The Matanzas Bay is full of wildlife, no matter what time of day or year!

• Chevron down Can I bring alcohol?
• If you booked the Osprey: Alcoholic beverages are sold on board for those 21 and older, including local favorites! No outside alcohol is allowed.
• If you booked the Island Breeze: You are welcome to BYOB. We sell alcoholic beverages in our marina shop that you are able to bring n board.

All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. We do not offer refunds if you miss the boat so it is important that you arrive on time.

If you need to reschedule your reservation, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. There is a rebooking fee of 50% of your payment for rescheduling within 48 hours of your cruise.

• Chevron down Am I required to leave a tip at the end of our trip?

A nice rule of thumb is “if you enjoyed your trip, leave a tip.” As with most hospitality-oriented jobs, the majority of our crews’ wages comes from tips, so monetary appreciation of our service is greatly appreciated. 🙂

• Chevron down What is a "Minimum Requirement"?

There must be 12 paid-for reservations to leave the dock. Although very rare, if the minimum is not met, we will contact you two hours before your scheduled trip to reschedule your reservation or you may request a full refund.

• Chevron down What if the weather is bad?

The weather here in Florida is beautiful and sunny for the most part, but it can be unpredictable at times. Our policy is, if there is a small craft advisory or lightning, we will cancel the tour. If your tour gets cancelled, we will contact you as soon as the captain knows and you can re-schedule it for another time or request a full refund. There is no expiration if you would like to save your tickets for a future date. All tickets are refundable for a trip that has been cancelled by us for any reason.

Windward at Camachee Island is just two miles from the historic district, and our harbor has it all – dining, boat club and charters, fishing, sailing, boater’s store and a boutique shop, as well as a Waterfront Inn and more.

KingFish Grill is great for dinner and offers you 10% off if you show them your confirmation email!

Odd Birds Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch, or Vinny’s Pizza-  open for lunch and dinner!
