Her full displacement hull and fuel-efficient single 300 HP John Deere diesel main engine will cruise her at 8 knots with a maximum speed of 11 knots.

An Onan 13.5 KW generator, a 730-watt telescoping solar panel array on the pilothouse roof, and two Victron LiFEPO4 215Ah batteries provide more than adequate underway and at anchor power for the boat.

Additional features like the Keypower get-home auxiliary prop drive system, 600 gallons per day water maker, KVH Satellite TV system, and individual washer and dryer unit make this boat very comfortable for long periods on the loop, offshore, or in the islands.

Upgrades and servicing done in 2023:

• Engines and generator serviced. Engine start battery replaced. Watermaker serviced.
• Internet from Starlink RV antenna

Boarding into the cockpit on Double Dutch can be done through the starboard gunwale door or via the swim platform and transom door. The spacious cockpit does provide access to narrow walkways starboard and port with stainless steel grab bars on both side. A single sliding door to the salon is to port in the cockpit and leads into a spacious well-appointed salon and galley customary for Ocean Alexander. The salon is aft with an L-shaped sofa to starboard and the entertainment center on the port bulkhead. Forward of the salon to starboard is the large U-shaped galley, and to port forward in the space is the companionway up to the pilothouse. Upon entering the pilothouse, the companionway down to berthing is immediately forward and there are port and starboard sliding wing doors for foredeck access. The pilothouse itself is incredibly spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable with a large black leather helm chair in the center. The helm is centered in the space with a settee and separate watch berth aft. Upon descending into the sleeping quarter's master stateroom with a centered queen berth aft under the pilothouse with a full ensuite head to port. The guest wet head is forward of the master stateroom to starboard and the guest stateroom with opposing up-down single berths is located forward. Exiting the pilothouse wing door to port is access to the top deck and flybridge aft and forward to the foredeck seating and then through the Portuguese bridge door to starboard to the bow.

M/Y Astra can sleep four comfortably in her two staterooms with a centered queen in the master stateroom and opposing up-down single bunks in the guest stateroom.

An additional three guests can find accommodations, one on the L-shaped sofa in the salon and two in the pilothouse, one in the watch berth, and one on the settee.

Master Stateroom The spacious master stateroom features a centered queen berth extending from the starboard bulkhead. There are two opening portlights, a reading light on each side, and a fan above the head of the berth. Hanging lockers and built-in nightstands are on either side of the berth. Mounted under the aft hanging locker is a CyberHome CH-DVD 300 DVD/MP3 player and an LG flatscreen TV is mounted aft above the foot of the bed. Additional storage drawers are located under the berth. The sole is teak and holly and the space is accented with LED lighting. The entrance to the ensuite head is centered to port at the foot of the berth.

The guest stateroom is forward in the bow and features opposing single up-down berths. Above each berth has a single-opening portlight, a reading lamp, and a built-in shelf. Below each berth are storage drawers and cabinets. The sole is teak and holly and an opening overhead hatch provides ventilation and additional light to the existing LED lighting. · Upper and lower criss-cross V-berths · Cedar-lined hanging locker with automatic lighting · Gebo overhead hatch with Oceanair shade and screen · Maytag stackable washer/dryer The guest head is a wet head configuration and features: • Granite topped vanity with Grohe faucet • Teak trimmed cabinets with mirrored medicine cabinet • Shower fixture above the toilet with curtain • Tecma toilet system connected to holding tank. • 12-volt lighting • Single opening portlight • Exhaust blower • Fiberglass non-skid sole

Salon The spacious salon features an L-shaped Ultraleather sofa along the starboard aft and starboard bulkheads, a teak hi/lo table, and two Ultraleather single ottomans. There are four large tinted windows in the salon, two to port, one to starboard, and one aft, two of which open, and the large sliding diamond Glaze waterproof door to the cockpit. This door also has a custom screen to allow airflow but restrict unwanted visitors. The sole is teak and holly and large teak storage cabinets along the port bulkhead storage and access to the home theater entertainment system and flatscreen Vizio TV. LED lighting throughout the salon and galley provides great energy-conscious lighting for the space and there are speakers in the ceiling for the home theater. Teak grab rails in the overhead are provided for additional safety.

Pilothouse The spacious pilothouse is not only stunning and comfortable for not only the captain but will seat and sleep several others. The large black leather Stidd helm chair is mounted in the center of the space and faces a well-equipped helm. The pilothouse has great visibility for navigation and will keep the crew out of any inclement weather. It also has a Gebo overhead hatch with an Oceanair shade and screen. A large bench settee with a wide teak table is just forward of a watch berth in the aft section of the space. There are two opening portlights in the aft bulkhead of the pilothouse. Two large sliding wing doors provide adequate access for navigation, anchoring, and line-handling operations.

Flybridge The flybridge is primarily configured for navigation purposes with a Stidd two-place bench helm chair, a small two-place bench seat to port, and a well-equipped helm. There is a bimini over the helm and flybridge (added in 2018) and custom covers for the helm and helm seat. Black skirting was also added in 2018, along with rattan sectional seating (a dinghy rack has been placed in storage). The flybridge helm is equipped with the following electronics and equipment:

Equinox X, a 2004 Cheoy Lee 81 Sport Yacht, has been a very successful charter yacht over the years with several notable features and upgrades. Equinox X is powered by twin Caterpillar 3412E diesel engines that are connected to ZF transmissions (rebuilt at 5,000 hours) and 31⁄2-inch stainless-steel propeller shafts with five-blade bronze props. Equinox X can quickly spool up to a max speed of 21 knots, but dial it back to 18 knots for a comfortable cruise. At 10 knots,  Equinox X has a reported range of 1,750 nautical miles. 

Step aboard Equinox X ’s swim platform and you’ll notice two sizable stowage lockers with electro-hydraulic doors on the port and starboard sides, which provide stowage space for water toys. A few steps up is the cockpit, where guests can relax at a table with chairs and built-in cushioned aft bench-style seat for an alfresco dinner. A removable wraparound screen and the bridge deck shade the cockpit. Looking to catch some rays? Lay out on the swim platform or walk up to the foredeck and relax one of three adjustable built-in loungers while enjoying the sights and ocean breeze. 

The bridge deck is accessible via exterior stairs off the cockpit as well as an interior spiral staircase running from the lower deck to the bridge deck. The bridge’s aft deck has stowage for the tender, which can be launched using the Nautical Structures 1,200-pound EZ crane. There’s also plenty of room for loungers or chairs. Step inside the climate-controlled skylounge and relax on an L-shaped sofa with a table after grabbing a drink from the bar refrigerator. Windows allow natural light to flow in while guests enjoy 360-degree views. 

Equinox X ’s helm is located on the bridge deck, forward the skylounge. A Stidd helm chair sits at the center of the full helm station with all controls within arm’s reach. To the port side is a top-loading freezer for additional cold goods stowage.

Equinox X ’s salon has a sofa with coffee table to port as well as a wet bar. There’s also a Galileo Maestro II Digital grand piano to starboard and forward of the entertainment center. Windows allow natural light to illuminate the salon from all points. Lock open the sliding glass door to create an open-air environment for guests to enjoy, from the dinette to the cockpit.    

The yacht’s 21-foot beam allowed designers to build a large country-style galley forward, which includes a dinette with L-shaped banquette seating and a built-in desk/workstation to port. Pantograph doors that lead to both side decks. The U-shaped galley has black Corian countertops with a Franke stainless-steel double sink that provides plenty of room for meal prep. The galley is equipped with a Frigidaire electric stove with a double oven as well as a Frigidaire microwave oven. Stow cold goods in the Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator/freezer and dry goods/galley accessories in cabinets and drawers located above and below the countertops. Clean up is made easy with the Miele dishwasher. There is also a durable Amtico sole.

Belowdecks are four staterooms en suite staterooms. Three staterooms are accessed from a foyer at the bottom of the spiral staircase, and one guest stateroom is forward, accessed via portside stairs from the galley. The master stateroom is full beam and has a centerline king-sized berth with two nightstands, sofa, vanity and a cedar-lined walk-in closet to port. Neutral palate tones, upholstered wall paneling and a carpeted sole will make owners feel cozy as they nose into a book or catch the rest of the game on the flat-screen TV before calling it a night. The VIP is located to port and features an island queen-sized berth, nightstand, cedar-lined locker, vanity and wooden-framed sliding window blinds. The third guest stateroom, located starboard forward the foyer, has side-by-side twin berths with a cedar-lined locker for stowage. An insert can be added between these berths to create a single larger berth for couples. The final guest stateroom is located forward the galley to port with a double berth with stowage underneath, a nightstand, a vanity and a cedar-lined locker. Crew quarters are located to starboard and forward, and have bunk-style twin berths with a cedar-lined locker, desk with shelves and en suite head. When not in use by a crew, these quarters can be used for additional stowage or additional guests.
